  Damage to Vehicle While in Your Care On May 12, 2026, I brought my brand-new vehicle to your location to have a rock chip repaired on my windshield. The repair itself was completed in a reasonable amount of time; however, when I picked up my vehicle, I immediately noticed several new cracks surrounding the area of the repair that were not present before service. In addition, there is now a deep scratch/cut on the lower driver-side area of the windshield. I brought the damage to the attention of an associate, who then contacted the manager. When the manager came outside, he initially stated that he did not see the damage. After I pointed it out, he attempted to clean the area with glass cleaner and stated that the damage was not on the outside of the glass. He also stated that the shop does not use razors or similar tools and claimed he did not know what could have happened. I explained multiple times that this damage was absolutely not present before I brought the vehicle in for service. Because the vehicle is less than a month old, I carefully inspected the windshield before bringing it in for the repair. The manager ultimately dismissed my concerns and stated, “I don’t know what to tell you because we didn’t do it,” before walking back into the office. My mother then attempted to calmly explain that dismissing a customer’s concerns regarding damage that occurred while the vehicle was in your care was unacceptable. Rather than helping resolve the situation or offering further assistance, the manager told her she needed to leave the building. We requested to speak with another manager or someone higher up, and were told someone would call us, but no resolution was provided. At this point, I am left with a windshield that now has noticeable cracking around the repaired area and an additional deep scratch/cut that may require further repair or full replacement. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed promptly and that someone contact me regarding resolution of the damages caused while my vehicle was in your care.
