I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place genuinely deserves the warning.Gerber Collision is one of the most disorganized and unprofessional businesses I’ve ever dealt with. A vehicle was brought in after minor collision damage and the entire experience immediately turned into a mess. From the start, staff gave a clear completion timeline and acted like everything was straightforward. That timeline turned out to mean absolutely nothing. There was barely any communication the entire time the vehicle was there. Calls were ignored constantly, messages were never returned, and every time someone did pick up, the answers changed depending on who was speaking. One person would say parts were in, another would say they were still waiting, and someone else would claim it was already “almost ready” when it clearly wasn’t. The most frustrating part was being repeatedly misled about pickup. On more than one occasion, it was confirmed that the vehicle would be ready for release. Arrangements were made based on that information, only to arrive and be told it was still not finished. No warning, no apology, just a casual “it’s not ready yet” like wasting people’s time is normal. On top of that, there was zero accountability. Nobody could give a straight answer about delays, and instead of honest updates, it felt like people were just guessing to get through the conversation. The lack of coordination between staff was obvious and made the whole process feel chaotic and careless. Because of these repeated delays and false readiness claims, transportation plans were disrupted multiple times, leading to unnecessary costs and a lot of inconvenience that could have easily been avoided with basic communication. This isn’t just about delays delays happen. It’s about being ignored, being misinformed, and being treated like customers’ time doesn’t matter at all. The level of unprofessionalism here is honestly shocking for a business that handles something as important as vehicle repairs. Would strongly recommend going somewhere else. The stress, confusion, and lack of communication are not worth it.

One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. Gerber Collision is completely disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly seems incapable of communicating with customers like a normal business. A vehicle was dropped off for repairs and from the beginning the entire process was a disaster. The staff acted confident giving an exact completion date and repeatedly reassured everything would be done on time. Because of that, a rental car was booked and paid for based on THEIR promises. Days passed with almost zero communication. Nobody ever called with updates, nobody checked in, and every attempt to contact the shop turned into a game of being ignored. Calls would go unanswered for hours, sometimes the entire day, and when someone finally answered they either sounded annoyed, confused, or gave completely different answers from the last employee. Then comes the day the vehicle was supposedly ready. The rental car gets returned, transportation is arranged, and after arriving at Gerber Collision they casually say the repairs are “still being worked on.” No apology, no warning beforehand, no concern whatsoever that their lies just stranded someone without transportation. They waited until someone physically arrived before admitting the vehicle wasn’t done. To make things worse, nobody there could even explain WHY it wasn’t finished. One employee blamed parts, another blamed insurance, another said they “thought it was done.” It honestly felt like nobody there had any clue what was going on. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable. Because of Gerber’s incompetence, another rental had to be found at the last second, except rental places were fully booked. An entire day was spent without transportation because this company cannot manage simple communication. Then another rental had to be paid for completely out of pocket because Gerber kept delaying things while acting like it was no big deal. The absolute worst part is this wasn’t even a one-time issue. Another week goes by and once again there are zero updates. Calls continue being ignored, voicemails never get returned, and nobody seems interested in helping. Every conversation felt like employees were just making things up to get people off the phone. At one point, different staff members gave three completely different answers within the same day about when the repairs would actually be finished. This place clearly has no respect for customers, their money, or their time. Delays happen sometimes, but lying to customers, refusing to answer calls, and leaving people stranded is unacceptable. A repair shop should not cause this much stress. The entire experience felt chaotic, careless, and unbelievably frustrating from start to finish. Would never recommend Gerber Collision to anyone. If you value communication, honesty, professionalism, or basic customer service, stay far away from this place because you will probably leave more stressed than when you arrived.

Absolutely the WORST customer service and repair experience I have ever dealt with in my life. I would never recommend Gerber Collision to anyone unless you enjoy being lied to, ignored, stressed out, and forced to waste your own money because of a company that clearly has zero respect for its customers. I brought my RAV4 in for repairs and was told it would be ready by Tuesday after being there for an entire week. Based on THEIR promise, I rented a car for the week thinking everything would go smoothly. Tuesday comes, I return the rental car, make arrangements to pick up MY vehicle, and drive all the way there just for them to casually tell me “oh it’s not done.” No warning call. No apology beforehand. Nothing. They literally let me show up expecting my car to be ready knowing it wasn’t. What makes this even worse is the communication at this place is absolutely pathetic. Trying to contact anyone there is like talking to a brick wall. Nobody answers the phones, and when someone finally does answer, every single employee sounds confused, lost, or completely clueless about what’s happening. I had to call over and over and over just to get basic updates because apparently nobody at this location knows how to communicate with customers. It honestly felt like nobody there had any idea what they were doing. Because of THEIR mistake and terrible management, I was left stranded without a vehicle. I had already returned my rental because THEY told me my car would be ready. I had to rush back to the rental place hoping to get another car, only to find out they were booked. So because Gerber Collision can’t keep their word, I ended up stuck without transportation for an entire day. No concern from them at all. No urgency. No accountability. Nothing. Then the next day I finally managed to get another rental, which I had to PAY FOR OUT OF MY OWN POCKET because this place cannot manage time or communicate like professionals. Another entire week passes, and it’s Tuesday AGAIN. Guess what? Same exact disaster. I’m calling for updates and nobody answers the phone. Again. Completely ignored. At this point I genuinely started wondering if anyone at this place even works or if they just sit around avoiding customers all day. This company cost me extra money, extra stress, and wasted so much of my time. The repairs taking longer is one thing things happen but lying to customers, refusing to communicate, and leaving people stranded is completely unacceptable. The level of disorganization at this place is embarrassing. Every interaction felt unprofessional and careless. Nobody seemed to care that THEIR delays were costing me money every single day. I honestly do not understand how this place stays in business. If this is how they treat customers, people should stay far away. There are plenty of other body shops that actually answer their phones, communicate with customers, and keep their promises. Gerber Collision does none of that. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and wasted money and go literally ANYWHERE else.
