- JDJay DeeAug 21, 20261.0After a long international flight, I jumped in the car without documenting pre-existing damages. The company rep did not do a walk around. He did upgrade me to a much better car for free. I think I know why now. Almost a month after returning the car, the company said I owed money within two weeks for damages I did not do. Read the reviews on Google. Read about other cases on Reddit. They do this a lot. Keep in mind, there are no laws in Louisiana, and no rules by Sixt, how far out they can keep charging you for damages. Take a video of the car with the timestamp and possibly even one of the company representatives in it for proof if you are set on renting with Sixt. You should just avoid them though.

Arrived a bit early and was told to wait cause my vehicle I reserved wasn’t in. I waited until my reservation and my car still was not back hey but instead of having me paying for a upgraded instead of waiting I was given the upgraded car for no extra charge that was perfect because I didn’t wanna delay my driving. Will definitely use there services again.
