Worst customer service experience I’ve EVER had.
I placed an online order, and upon arrival, an employee expressed frustration about items being ordered that were not in stock. This concern should be directed at internal systems, not customers who are simply using the online ordering platform as intended.
After realizing the product required an outlet and was not suitable for my needs, I returned to the store within two days to request a return. I was assisted by an employee named Adrian, who was unprofessional and unhelpful throughout the interaction. She appeared unwilling to assist with scanning my barcode and instead contacted the store manager, Kim, via speakerphone.
During that call, Adrian never indicated that the item was used, and the manager had not inspected the product. Despite this, Kim stated that the item was “used” and therefore could not be returned. This assertion was made without verification and felt like an unfounded accusation. When I attempted to clarify that the item had not been used and was simply the wrong product, Kim shut down the conversation by stating, “I’m not talking to you,” and ultimately denied the return, saying it was “because I said so.”
Additionally, I had to repeatedly request the names of both employees and was initially ignored before they were eventually provided.
After contacting corporate, I was advised to return to the store to complete the return. However, upon doing so, Adrian refused to come to the front when called and then proceeded to assist another customer before me, further delaying and disregarding my request.
Although someone from corporate ultimately assisted me in successfully processing the return yesterday, I then received a call from the store today offering to process the return over the phone. This was particularly frustrating, as I was previously told in-store that the return could not be completed at all. This inconsistency further highlights the lack of communication and professionalism at this location.
This experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and adherence to basic customer service standards. I felt dismissed, disrespected, and wrongly accused without any effort made to properly assess the situation.
I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed appropriately, as this level of service does not align with what customers should expect.
