Within the last 8 months of my lease Intoxalock started to send multiple infractions to the Louisiana OMV starting in December 2025. They caused me a 180 day extension, then in May 2026 Intoxalock caused me another 180 day extension. I had to go to the Louisiana OMV in Lake Charles, LA in order to check my license status. Guess what? Although the letter from the OMV claimed I was not in compliance with R.S. 32:378.2 I was never fined but I was given an additional 180 days. Then on 8/17/2026 I get another letter from the OMV stating I have lost my driving privileges because Intoxalock reported disconnects with my account adding another 180 days. I believe Intoxalock is sending false information to the OMV to keep me tied to their contract. I will contact a lawyer that has heard similar issues and I will also report this to the BBB so that an investigation will start in monitoring why Intoxalock devices start indundating the OMV with false information causing ME or other clients to deal with extended leases. This costs thousands of dollars not to mention stress. I will contact a good lawyer that is familiar with this Intoxalock corruption.
