  Flew in with a reservation for a rental and they had no cars . Complete disappointment we were stuck at the airport for hours missed our check in time and was on a business trip

  Great help from all personnel and very knowledgeable. I have to extend my rentals often and they help me through the process. The crew at Lake Charles airport are the best!!

  Call center and this place do not comminicate. Reserved 2 cars and nothing available upon arrival. Same for the rest of the airport.

  This is a different kind of review. I want to praise the employee whose name I do not know who went to the other rental car kiosks at the airport to find my daughter and I a large car after ours broke down, loaded with supplies and food for a week at the beach. After being stranded on the shoulder, waiting for a tow truck over three hours in 100 degree heat, we were exhausted and yet no rental car could be found: the city had experienced flooding days before and the supply of rental cars had been been almost depleted as repair shops were filled with local flooded cars. He did find a competitor with a minivan who was able to hold it for us until we got there. I can't thank the young man enough. (4 stars instead of 5 toward Enterprise itself because, though they had no cars, their central number was still making reservations. If we had not called before getting a ride over there, we would have been greatly disappointed.)

  I want to give a well deserved shoutout to the Enterprise team at Lake Charles Regional Airport. From the moment I walked up to the counter, the customer service was outstanding. The staff greeted me promptly, processed my reservation quickly, and were friendly and professional the entire time. No pushy upselling, no confusion about my reservation, just a smooth, courteous check in that got me on the road without delay. The car itself was in great condition overall. It was clean both inside and out, and clearly well-maintained, I didn’t have to worry about pre-existing damage, low tire pressure, or any of the usual little annoyances that can come with a rental. The only thing I noticed was that the inside of the windshield could have used a wipe-down; there was a bit of film that made it slightly hazy in certain light and what looked like some liquid had dried in it. It was a minor issue and didn’t affect the trip, but worth mentioning since everything else about the vehicle was spotless. Returning the vehicle was just as painless, even though I dropped it off about 30 minutes before the counter opened. No one was at the desk yet, but everything I needed was ready and waiting at the dropbox, a simple form to record the final mileage and fuel level myself. It took me all of a minute or two to fill out and drop off, no waiting around for someone to show up. That kind of preparedness for early or after-hours returns says a lot about how well this location is run. What really impressed me was how quickly I got my final receipt despite that unattended return. I received it by email within an hour of the counter officially opening that morning, meaning the staff processed my dropbox form and mileage almost as soon as they walked in. Anyone who has dealt with rental car companies knows that getting a timely, accurate receipt isn’t always guaranteed, sometimes it takes days, especially after a self-service return. This team clearly has a tight, efficient process behind the scenes, and it shows. I travel about 170 Days a year and Airport rental counters can be one of the more stressful parts of traveling, long lines, tired staff, vehicles that haven’t been properly cleaned or inspected, and slow, confusing checkout processes. This Enterprise location was pretty close to the exact opposite of all that, handling both my staffed pickup and my unattended early return smoothly. Honestly, I wish every airport rental car agency operated the way this one does. If you’re flying into Lake Charles and need a rental, I’d recommend this Enterprise location without hesitation. Aside from a windshield that could use a quick wipe next time, this was about as good as an airport rental experience gets.
