  Absolutely terrible experience with National Car Rental. The car they gave me smelled heavily like cigarette smoke from the moment I opened the door. It was disgusting and made the entire trip miserable. For the price they charge, there is no excuse for handing customers a vehicle that smells like an ashtray. The car clearly was not cleaned or inspected properly before being rented out. Extremely disappointed with the lack of quality control and customer care. I expected much better and will seriously reconsider renting from them again.

Jon was absolutely charming — knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. He assisted me both at pickup and return, making sure every detail was smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and warm demeanor turned a simple rental into a truly pleasurable experience. The Grand Wagoneer itself was outstanding — luxurious, powerful, and comfortable — and thanks to Jon’s guidance, I’m now seriously considering purchasing one. That speaks volumes about the level of service and product quality National consistently strives to provide. National Car Rental’s vision of creating loyal customers through outstanding service was clearly demonstrated during my visit. Experiences like this are why customers return — and recommend.   I rented a vehicle from Lafayette Airport in Louisiana and Naomy was outstanding!! If you ever go to this location her professionalism will make your experience great!
