- MLMichelle LafleurJun 15, 20261.0Months ago, the C fell off of the back of my Lincoln Aviator and the service department replaced it for me while my vehicle was being checked for one of the recalls. Now the I is missing and, even though they claim this has happened a bit before to others, they are saying that I'll have to pay over $75 to get it replaced. I owned a Lincoln MKX for years and switched to the Lincoln Aviator, thinking it would be the same quality as before. I am not sure what is happening, but I have been continuously disappointed with this vehicle. The screen is out on my monitor and the windshield wipers squirt water everywhere but on the windshield, the drive modes get stuck and sometimes the car is revving for no reason. I had a rattling sound under my car for almost a year before they realized that something was loose underneath the car. It is very frustrating and I am on recall number five right now. I'm very disappointed and will not pay $75 to get the I replaced. The price is for all of the letters and you have to buy them all. I guess they want you to save them for when the next one falls off.
