  I had one hiccup regarding the condition I received the vehicle in but management handled it quickly and efficiently. First time being in Lafayette and if I have to return, I'll use them for sure. Demarcus and Naomi were exceptional CSRs.

  It’s been 4 days and I STILL have not received my refund from Alamo Rental Car, LFT location! I reserved a car for May 8th only to find out you cannot pay via debit card, however only AFTER swiping my card. They claimed the payment didn’t go through, but unfortunately it has been a pending transaction on my end since then. I’ve called customer service, corporate, and the billing departments every day, spoken to multiple people, yet NO ONE seems to be able to release MY MONEY and void the transaction! I have rented cars for the last 4yrs for work without issue and this time it was for a personal trip and I will NEVER do business with this company again. Tying up close to $600 of someone’s money and having ZERO reconciliation for them to get their money back is absolutely ridiculous! At this point, I’m having to wait until my bank ca file a dispute of the charges since no one at Alamo/Enterprise can seem to bother to refund me!

  The rental car I had was having car issues in which the car said change engine oil soon at 0% oil life. So I talked to Enterprise they told me the nearest enterprise was the airport 200 terminal drive Lafayette to get another car. I got to the enterprise desk there was a note saying go to Alamo/National desk. I told the lady at the desk what roadside service at enterprise told me to stop there an there to switch out cars. She took my license and walked off before allowing me to finish my sentence. After she was with the customer in front of me being very nice to him talking about his cats and life etc while I was in line behind him waiting. She came back with my license after talking to the man in the back room and had a attitude talking about enterprise always do that tell people to come there without seeing if they have vehicles available etc. She said she couldn't help me to Firestone and see if they could change the oil and tell them enterprise was going to pay for it without giving a card or any information to show Firestone so they could change the oil. I asked her name she wouldn't give it me proceeded with her attitude and gave me her manager name.... I would not give any stars if I could. Instead of being rude and nasty to me and getting a attitude because a issue she had with enterprise she could have handled the situation differently.... Don't go to this Alamo/National if you don't have to

  Counter assistance was on point - courteous and easy access to car on initiation of rental and return. Staff always had a contagious smile. LFT Alamo is a mark above the others: I was impressed as a first time Alamo customer. I am typically Hertz & National loyal.
