  I had an excellent experience with Amhad during my car rental. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, professional, and made the entire process quick and stress-free. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was completely taken care of before I left. His customer service was outstanding, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers. Employees like Amhad make a huge difference and are the reason I’ll gladly rent here again. Thank you for making my experience such a positive one!

  Picked up a car here on Monday. Our flight was cancelled the day before but the team was kind enough to ensure we still got a car for the city. Diamond at the front desk was an absolutely delight. Super kind and efficient to get everything wrapped up quickly.

  Caleb W is freaking amazing! This is the second week in a row I have rented a vehicle and he has been nothing but respectful pleasant and just awesome to work with. This past time I mentioned how I was allergic to cigarette smoke. He made sure he checked the car to verify it had not been smoked in. He went over and beyond. I will continue to rent cars from this company because of him. And the way he treated me from the first moment I walked up to the counter.

  Scam, scam, SCAM! They lure you in with an affordable price and then BAM you get hit with hidden fees upon return of the rental. And their website literally says “no hidden fees”! I was charged over $1100 for a 9 day rental when it was supposed to be less than $600. NEVER AGAIN.

  WARNING: Do NOT rent a car here if you want to be confident you’re dealing with people who know what they’re talking about. When I rented my car at the New Orleans airport, the SIXT employee who handled my rental told me I could add collision coverage later if I changed my mind. I changed my mind. Before making a special trip to the downtown location, I called SIXT customer service to confirm. I was told I could add the coverage there. Because I wanted to be certain, I called a second time specifically to verify the information. Same answer. Three SIXT employees. The same information three times. I drove downtown solely to add the coverage and was told it could not be done. I then spent more than two hours pacing the downtown location, trying to get SIXT to resolve a problem created by its own employees’ misinformation. SIXT later acknowledged in writing that I had been misinformed, apologized, and offered no meaningful remedy. One employee making a mistake is unfortunate. Three employees independently giving a customer the same incorrect information—and the company doing nothing meaningful after acknowledging it—is a systemic problem. If you rent from SIXT, get anything important in writing. Apparently, asking three times isn’t enough [UPDATE] Michelle, although I appreciate your offer of a completely different apology… I must add this: When I returned the car, Michael at SIXT asked me what the company could do to make me “fall in love with SIXT” and become a customer again. I took him seriously. Later, Michael Washington of SIXT acknowledged in writing that I had been given misinformation and apologized on behalf of the company. I responded. I explained the consequences of what had happened and gave SIXT an opportunity to provide a meaningful resolution—to actually answer the question I had been asked when I returned the car. Michael Washington never responded to my final email. So SIXT has now acknowledged in writing that I was misinformed. The company knows I relied on information provided by three of its employees. It knows I called a second time specifically to verify that information before making the trip. It knows I spent more than two hours trying to resolve a problem created by its own misinformation. And after asking what SIXT could do to win me back, its response was an apology followed by silence. Companies make mistakes. Accountability is what happens next. An apology is a collection of words. Accountability requires a verb. ADDENDUM- and now there’s also an issue with my extra days refund AND deposit having not been refunded and it’s now 15 days later since my Return!!
