  This is a difficult place to review. I bought a 2022 GV70 3.5. I absolutely love the vehicle. The sales side was as good as it can be when your spending that much money. But the Service Department is a disaster. I live 70 miles away so when I make an appointment I make it clear I will be whating on the car and need to be the 1st appointment of the day. So it takes weeks to get an appointment. Then every time they say we are backed up we will try to get it done today. The car came with free oil changes for the 1st 5 years. I ended up doing it myself because it takes a day to get the oil changed with them. All the work has been done very well. I have nothing but compliments on the quality of the work. But the hassle and aggravation just to get a appointment has got me seriously considering Driving 85 miles to Mississippi the next time I need to take my car to the dealership. Oh and the attitude of the service advisors is atrocious. The 1st impression when you walk in the door is none of them want to be there. It is unfortunate Genesis doesn't require a better level of service.

  I brought my vehicle in today for an early morning service appointment and left extremely disappointed with the experience. I arrived at 8:30 AM and was directed to the lobby, where I was told that Steve would be coming to speak with me. Unfortunately, no one—Steve or anyone else—ever came to check on me during my entire visit, which lasted until noon. As a new Genesis owner, having had my GV80 Coupe for only 10 months, I was hoping to ask a few questions and get a better understanding of my vehicle. That opportunity never came. The only time I saw Steve was when he called me up to check out, and even then, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the complete lack of communication throughout my visit. To make matters worse, when I received my vehicle back, it had been left in the guest settings instead of being returned to the personalized settings I brought it in with. For a service appointment that lasted four hours for just an oil change and inspection, this was unacceptable. While I will say that the shuttle driver and a few other staff members were very pleasant, it does not make up for the overall poor service experience. Sitting in a lobby for four hours with a 6-month-old child and receiving zero updates or communication is frustrating and disappointing. This experience has made me question my decision to invest in this brand. I expected a higher level of service to match the quality and price of the vehicle. Genesis of Covington needs to do better.

  This place is terrible. I was treated so bad. I will never step foot in this place again. They don’t care about customers.
