I was a first time new car buyer. I researched carefully and ultimately chose Hyundai. The buying experience was pleasant, only took about 2 hours. I never felt pressured or rushed by Jarret even with my million silly questions. I did have an issue with an incident with the service department shortly after my purchase. But Tyler went above in beyond in making right and I am very happy in my Tucson! I hope to be in my new car for a long time, but when I’m ready for a new vehicle I’m definitely coming back to North Park.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I am so happy with the sales and financing team at Eddie Tourrelle Hyundai I had to come on and let the world know. I have never financed a vehicle so I was very nervous. I had already had a bad experience with All Star in Baton Rouge, which caused me to be very wary of car dealers. In the midst of my bad experience, I received a text message from Shephard at Eddie Tourrelle Hyundai, and in my frustration with the other dealer, I told him exactly what my parameters were and what I was looking for, and he found the car and made the deal happen. Shepherd was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, making sure I knew every technical and safety feature available. I got more car than I expected!! We handled most of the paperwork by phone, and I only had to go ij to test drive and sign. I found out toward the end of the appointment that this Hyundai location is family owned, and I was treated as such. I am very happy with my 2026 Hyundai Elantra! Go see Shepherd at Eddie Tourrelle Hyundai!!

My wife and I went to test drive a Hyundai Tucson at Eddie Tourelle Hyundai today. We were treated like family. My wife had been very nervous about the whole process but the two salesmen helping us made her very comfortable. Dustin went on the test drive with my wife. She said he was so informative and knowledgeable about the car. She learned a lot quickly. The paperwork process went well. No one hurried us or made us feel like we asked too many questions. Big shout out to Dustin and Justin for making this a great experience. We will be telling everyone about the service we received at Eddie Tourelle Hyundai and tell them to ask for Dustin or Justin if they want professional and knowledgeable salesmen. It was a great day.

I’ve been a customer at Hyundai for almost 20yrs. The service has gone down hill horribly. I had a recall. Made the appointment and was told it would take 30 minutes. I arrive for the service and was told 1 1/2 hrs. I needed wiperblades so I had them take care of that as well. I was there 3 hrs!!! My appointment was for 8 and I did not walk out till after 11:00. The reason was, they had to go buy my wiperblades!!!! Was not in stock at Hyundai so they went to a store and bought them! I waited over an hour just for the wiperblades! They were caught in traffic for 45 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. If you ever wonder why it’s taking so long for your service to be done. Remember they may have left to go buy your part elsewhere. Don’t think I’ll buy another Hyundai after this experience

I recently brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and left extremely disappointed with both the quality of service and the customer service I received. During my visit, I was informed that my gravel shield was broken and needed to be replaced, along with a few other recommended repairs. Prior to this appointment, I had recently had work done on my radiator, and while the gravel shield may have had minor wear, it had never caused any issues. Within an hour of leaving the dealership, it was dragging on the ground. When I called to inquire about it, I was immediately told that the gravel shield is not touched during an oil change and that there was a photo showing it was already broken. No one from the service department spoke with me directly, and no effort was made to discuss whether it could have been affected during the service. After speaking with a family member who works for a dealership and is familiar with my vehicle, I learned that the gravel shield is, in fact, accessed during an oil change on my vehicle. But you reach through an access hole to change the oil. Two days later, my check oil light came on. I called the dealership again and was initially told the earliest available appointment was nearly a month away. I explained that an illuminated oil warning light could indicate a serious issue and that driving the vehicle for another month was not a reasonable or safe recommendation. Rather than recognizing the urgency of the situation, I was met with resistance. It was only after our conversation ended that I received a call back informing me that management had instructed me not to drive the vehicle and that someone would come inspect it immediately. A technician arrived and advised that there appeared to be oil in the vehicle and no obvious leaks, but recommended that I bring it to the dealership for further inspection. After waiting approximately an hour at the dealership, I was told there was an oil leak and that wiring repairs would be necessary. Given that my vehicle had been serviced by the dealership only two days earlier without any mention of an oil leak, I expressed my concern that I should not be responsible for paying for repairs related to an issue that had suddenly appeared immediately after service. To his credit, the service manager was professional and attempted to offer a compromise on the cost of repairs and replacement of the gravel shield. While I appreciated his willingness to work with me, it did not resolve my concerns regarding the original service or the inconsistent information I had received throughout the process. I ultimately sought a second opinion from another repair shop. They found no oil leaks or issues with the vehicle and explained that the oil warning light may have simply been triggered during the oil change process and not properly reset. It has now been over a week, the warning light has not returned, and my vehicle is driving perfectly. My biggest disappointment was not the possibility of an honest mistake—it was the lack of accountability, poor communication, and the dismissive treatment I received throughout the process. Being advised to wait nearly a month after reporting an oil warning light is unacceptable, and being repeatedly given conflicting information significantly eroded my trust in this service department. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs based solely on this dealership’s recommendations. And to add insult to injury, I completed the internal review two weeks ago and never had anyone call to follow up regarding my experience. I’m only posting online now due to their lack of response and willingness to even reach out and apologize for such a poor experience.
