At this point. I wish I could leave zero stars. A little over a year ago, I called LTO to get a quote on a leveling kit for my 17 F-150. I was advised the better option would be a 2" leveling kit from Rough Country rather than the puck system. I was given a price and said let's do it. So the appointment was scheduled.
I dropped it off, they had it for the day, I get the call it's ready, and I go to pick it up just before they closed. I walk out to the truck and am already disappointed because it didn't seem like the 2" leveling kit did much at all. Mind you the kit that was sold was the front and rear kit, shocks and all.
I get home, look under the truck and guess what...still factory shocks, heck factory everything other than....added leveling pucks...Keep in mind, we agreed and I paid for a full 2" leveling kit for the front and rear. So I messaged them on Facebook. I got a reply later that evening saying they were sorry and would fix it. Here I am pissed because $1,500 for a puck kit??? Needless to say I felt like I was getting screwed over. So I dropped it off again. They had it all day, picked it up at the close of business, and although not level I could instantly tell the difference. So I leave but something didn't seem right, I stopped on the way home, got out and looked under the front and they removed the puck and had the proper equipment on the truck. So I continue home. I get home and am showing my son what they did. We go to the back of the truck.....STOCK SHOCKS STILL THERE...At this point I'm blowing a gasket...totally feel as though they are trying to cheat me out of my money and proper equipment that was purchased. So now a THIRD time in the shop to have done what was supposed to be done the first time. Meanwhile, I'm constantly hearing...oh we will make this right...we will make this right...blah blah blah...
They didn't like the negative review I left on Google and asked if I would remove it. Reluctantly I did. Admittedly, I didn't turn around and leave a positive one either. I just wanted to be done with this place.
Let's jump to a few weeks ago. I get one of their system generated text saying oh it's been a while since you were here, let us know how we can help! So that was nice to have this brought back to my mind about this horrible experience with this company. At this time, I have a different truck so I'm like ok...let's see what they meant by "we will make this right." Clearly they weren't talking about fixing my truck properly because they said that the first time and it still took a second time to bring it back in. They said it a second time and it still took a third time of bringing it back in. Now on the third time, the full kit is finally installed yet the truck is still not level. So what's the purpose of paying for a leveling kit and it not being level. I take it back to them for them to get their own measurements because a customer clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.
Supposedly they call Rough Country and they were instructed to remove a block from the rear to bring it level. So...again...why am I paying all this money for a LEVELING kit just to have parts of said kit removed from the truck...
So since they decided to send me a text, I messaged them on Facebook and asked them exactly what they meant by they would make this right. Four times to the shop and they would make it right yet it was never made right. So in my message to them, I asked exactly what that meant. I explicitly stated I was not looking for handouts or free work. I just wanted to know what "we will make this right meant." I expressed the look I was trying to achieve with my new truck and asked for their input on how to achieve this. I even provided them my phone number so that we could talk about this over the phone or offered to come in and discuss this in person.
So what does LTO do to make things right....they just blatantly ignore my message. No response. Nothing. So I sent a follow up message which they ignored also...so...at this point, the negative review has to be made. This is absurd.
