Brought in some trailer rims and tires to have the tires replaced. Got it done in about 1.5 hours, I was happy with that. Got the tires home and put them on the trailer. With the extra pressure on the tires I noticed one of the valve stems was hissing, and when I pressed on the stem it hissed more. On closer inspection I noticed that this was an old valve stem from the previous tire. I had to jack the trailer up and pull the tires back off, then I called back to have this fixed and they scheduled me for 1pm, which I wasn't too pleased about, since I'd prefer to have it fixed immediately. I went ahead and brought them in around 11:30 am, explained the situation in person, the front desk people were understanding and apologetic and got someone on it immediately. In less than 15 minutes both valve stems were replaced. The tech was also apologetic and explained they're training a new tech and they misunderstood how to replace valve stems. By 12:30 I was back home and putting the tires back on.
Ultimately I feel confident that I have a solid set of tires on my trailer, but it was frustrating that I had to jack up the trailer and remove the tires and drive to the shop a second time, making me lose an hour of my day. If this had happened to someone else that wasn't immediately inspecting their tires they would've ended up with a flat the next day.
I'm happy that they took my concern seriously and addressed it as soon as I brought the tires back, but to rate this 5 (Excellent) or 4 (Great) stars would require that I didn't have to bring the tires back, that it was done right the first time and I didn't have to deal with the frustration, loss of time, or extra work.
