  They didn’t catch a nail in the sidewall of my tire. My tire was low and I had noticed what I thought was a rock. I took it in, and they “thoroughly inspected all of my tires” And they all looked perfect, I just needed to ignore the tire pressure sensors. So I ignore the tire pressure sensors. And drove 500 miles. Only to get there and find that my tire was at 10 psi. So I take it to another Volvo dealership in the city I was then in, only for them to immediately tell me that what I thought was a rock was in fact a nail. And that I needed a new tire. Thoroughly unimpressed. What would’ve happened if my tire blew? Or if I damaged my rim?

  Chris Moody...where do I even begin? He was absolutely the most wonderful salesperson to work with. He was kind, knew his product and was not your typical "pushy" sales guy. He is truly a gem! We bought my daughter's XC90 from him and it was a smooth and pleasant transaction. So much so that my family went back and bought a second car from him a few months later.   Went to look and had made a decision not buy that day. Our salesman, Milan, understood and worked with us for about 3 hours showing us different vehicles and letting us test drive multiple vehicles. We sat down and worked through some payment options so we would be as informed as possible. We loved the way we were treated and decided to go back the next day and made the purchase. Grateful for all the help and knowledge we got while just looking. Thanks again. Go see Milan for a Volvo!

  I had been watching a car on the All Star website for about a month - reached out for information and determined the quote was not where I wanted it to be plus factoring in driving more than 5 hours to pick it up. When I saw online that the car had dropped in price I reached out to the original sale team member I had been dealing with but he was evidently not in office - a different sales person responded. We reached an agreement on the price - after pointing out a discrepancy between the price we were quoted and the price listed online, Informed the sales member we would take the vehicle and would travel from a different state to pick it up - the deal was made late Wednesday afternoon and we would travel and be at the dealership when they opened on Friday. We were assured by the sales team member that’s provided the buyers order that this was fine and they would see us then. At 4:30 pm on Thursday the original sales team member called and informed me the car was sold. Really, after sitting for weeks? DId it sell or did the sales team try to salvage their commission from an obvious pricing screw up? I emailed and called the dealership asking for clarification on where the communication broke down and have yet to receive any communication from either sales team members I had been dealing with or Mr. John Burckel. Even after being PROMISED a return call. I understand first come, first served but from my perspective, the timing feels very suspicious. Unfortunately, interactions like this reinforce the negative reputation that car salespeople often have. In an age where online reviews and social media play such a significant role in consumers' decisions, I would have expected a dealership to operate with more transparency and integrity rather than appear to play games with customers. My car search is back to square one but I do know I'll be exploring other options with dealerships that conduct business more honestly.
