If I could give lower than one start I would. The young black girl with the braids working this morning, refused to give me my rented vehicle. I rented it several days ago. She had a very rude tone and mannerisms basically telling me I could not get my car for 12. She said they were closed and had no cars left when you could visually see all the cars in the parking lot. She waved her hand at me saying come back on Monday. I was suppose to drop the car off Monday. Another guy trying to get his rental said she told him to comeback in 45 minutes & she was already gone. Very unprofessional will never use enterprise again. Makes no sense why you allow someone to rent a car Saturday at 12pm but yall close at that time. Will defiantly tell people not even waste time with this place. And will also post social media about this.

Reserved a van for our family vacation, only to be told that they don’t have it, the day before we are supposed to leave. Terrible customer service. I’ll never trust this company again.

Never had a problem at this location on MacArthur Dr in Alexandria until I got to deal with who I believe is the manager, Timothy. I initially went in physically on a Monday to make a reservation due to a claim (the same ongoing claim I rented for a month under in May and returned in June with no issues) for pickup on Thursday morning. It’s July and my vehicle isn’t expected to get out of the body shop until August. Was told this time that a claim number wouldn’t work and my insurance company had to book it to get the insurance rate I had gotten earlier. So I call my insurance agent and they call me 3 way with enterprise after providing claim information to book the reservation. Done. No issues expected. I get a call at 4pm on Wednesday, the day before my scheduled 7:30 am pickup, to be informed by Timothy that my reservation was entered wrong and he could not give me the rate and that I needed to contact my insurance company. I asked him why I am just now hearing about this problem at 4pm the day before my early pick up. The response I got in an arrogant smart ass tone was “there’s not a problem. You need to contact your insurance company to rebook.” My response, which I felt was a reasonable question was “If there is no problem, then why are you calling me?” So I told him I’d call my agent, hoping that they haven’t left for the day. I called my agent and was informed that the claims agent I had been dealing with had just left for the day and that they have never had to handle any different than they did already, but they called and went through the motions and said they would call me back. In the meantime, I called Timothy back and informed him that the claims agent had just left, but they are trying to get it fixed and asked if I still had a reservation in the system to pay regular price if this didn’t go through. His response…smart ass disrespectful tone again…”sir, the claims department never leaves” and then hung up on me. Maybe the State Farm claims department never closes, but I had been going through my agent who understands good customer service and was handling everything for me. The tone, attitude, and disrespect was totally uncalled for. To top it off, after the reservation went through, I got a call from the other enterprise agent in the MacArthur Dr office who proceeded to tell me that they had overbooked and could not get me a car. I explained that I had made the reservation earlier in the week and Timothy had told me I still had a reservation at full price. Either way, I needed a car to get to a mandatory work function out of town that I had tried to be prepared to get to by making the reservation early. I alerted him to Timothy’s attitude as well. The agent said that he didn’t see any other reservation besides the one that had just come through after 4pm and that Timothy had just left. He said he would reach out to him to confirm what I was saying. I thank him and go back to my business. 5 minutes later, I get a call from the agent saying that he had called Timothy and because I had hung up on him and the way the conversation went, that there was nothing he could do to get me a car where otherwise he had said he might be able to work something out. I said, “Hang up on him? He got smart and hung up on me! I didn’t hang up on him.” I was told either way, there was nothing he would do for me and that there was no car available. I understand people have bad days. And maybe Timothy had had one. But don’t be an ass to your customers because of it. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. Last time dealing with them for sure.

When I picked the car up it was filthy and had no windshield wiper fluid. Then on the last day of my reservation on my way home they called to tell me that I had to turn the car in at 5:30 not 6:00 despite the fact that I had received SEVERAL texts and confirmations that said 6:00. And when I asked about this the staff just had excuses about technology and he even offered the excuse that you can order door dash from a closed restaurant. Despite the fact that door dash is a third party app and I booked directly through Enterprise! It's not about the fact that it's only 30 minutes. I was rushed on my way home from vacation so that the staff didn't have to check my rental in at 6:00. Changing a customers reservation LAST MINUTE is unacceptable! If 6:00 isn't an option take it off of the website. The man kept repeating excuses about technology but it's Enterprises website so Enterprise should be able to fix this is 6:00 isn't a drop off option.
