  Buyers beware! First, I know people are going to say, well you should always go in and prepay, but thats not always an option. There are circumstances that cause someone to not go in and prepay and after all in this worlds technology, the pumps should be as adequate as the inside card reader. Now to my rant. Pilot in Williamsburg, I do NOT recommend. There are many reasons after personal experience that I can honestly count on one hand I have used them in the last 15 yrs, but tonight topped the cake, as to why I never use a Pilot again. So, just an FYI, if you put your card in their reader outside, its an automatic 176 hold on your funds, doesnt matter if its credit or debit and if you dont have that much in your account they put a hold on every dime you have. 2nd, even when you put your card in, there is absolutely no guarantee you will even be able to pump any gas. Nor can they produce a receipt saying they are holding those funds. And it can take 3-5 business days to release. Fact check if you'd like. The information came straight from the corporate office. What does that mean? The family traveling home that only has a little money budgeted in to return after a relaxing vacation, sorry. Your money's on hold, we can't help you, guess you will have to wait to get gas and go home. The single mom that budgets every penny from paycheck to paycheck, sorry, no gas for a few days because your funds are on hold. The elderly couple traveling to see grandkids or back and forth to appointments, and they live on a strict budget, sorry, your money is on hold we can't help you. And the college kid trying to make ends meet, juggle life with a hectic schedule and do something with their life, yep, they are going to.hold your money, not give you your gas, and say, sorry, nothing we can do, you'll just have to wait for the charge to drop off. And yes, seen this 1st hand! Its hard in this world, we all struggle to go from day to day, and we work hard for our money. Holding it, and then not even allowing a transaction for the money your company put a hold on, there is no amount of right in that.

  The last time I was at this location It was 1 cop searching the tree's behind the Pilot Store were trucks be park at in about 10 mins later a second cop came in help searching the woods which tree's in I don't no what they was look for but I didn't take no Pictures or the cop car or them searching the woods cause I don't want nothing to do with what they looking for in the woods there. I could've easy got a Pictures of them walking with flash lights in it was dark. They cars was park near the tree's there. No blue lights was on. Williamsburg Kentucky. Cops was searching the woods.

  As much as truckers and people pay for goods, fix your washer and dryers. Showers are superb. Staff is super nice, ty.
