  Thanks for not renting to us with a surgery scheduled in Louisville in the morning for my husband fighting pancreatic cancer. It would have been nice if someone had contacted us before the day of our rental to tell us that our bank card would not work to rent a car at this location. We've rented from them before using it, and we use it all the time at the location in Murray. Our Murray location has been amazing with helping us assure we can get to out of town medical appointments. They were not open on Sunday, so my husband had the bright idea to use the airport location. He was halfway to pick it up today when they called and told him he couldn't have it unless we had a credit card to put it on. Our bank card wasn't good enough like it usually is. So, now we have no way to get my husband to Louisville for a surgery that took over a month to even get worked into the surgeon's schedule. I see it in the policy now that I look. He didn't have a return ticket anywhere so would have to use a credit card. But, a heads up a bit sooner so that we could try to make plans elsewhere would have been nice. We didn't know as many times as we've rented from Enterprise that we needed to read all of the fine print on the entire page. A cancer patient possibly missing a surgery bc of them not telling us our bank card worked fine in the app but would not in person once we got there- sooner than a half hour before the rental time- is a pretty destructive policy. They should either change the app so that can't happen or contact people sooner. I am so shaken up and disappointed in Enterprise, I can barely type. He's even like a gold status member or whatever they call it we've rented from them so often. Yes, we've only rented from the airport once before, and I should have expected something to go wrong when we didn't use our local branch. We'd have just rented one from them on Saturday if we'd have known. Trying to save money on one rental day has really bitten us on this one. Thanks Barkley Airport Enterprise. I hope if anyone there or any of their family members have or get cancer- that this type of thing never happens to any of them. I wouldn't wish it on an enemy even. Thanks and God bless.

  They don't offer rides to the airport parking lot when you drop the rental there so make sure you don't have a lot of luggage. There not very helpful at the airport rental return.
