- TTTerrieApr 8, 20265.0I have been to the Hinkleville location a few times. Every time I go I am greeted as I walk in the door. They are very knowledgeable and get what I need quickly. The customer service is first rate. I was having problems with my van but wasn’t sure what it was. A young man came out and checked my battery- it was bad so they put a new one on! Wonderful service!

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
