  I would like to share both a concern and a compliment regarding my recent visit to the Pilot gas station. I was waiting for my sandwich at the Subway inside the Pilot, and I ended up waiting much longer than expected because jimmy, who was helping customers, was also having to perform maintenance duties. From what I observed, the employee whose responsibility appeared to be maintenance had been outside sleeping for at least an hr. Because of this, jimmy was left to handle maintenance responsibilities while also trying to serve customers. My concern is not with jimmy it’s with the unfair situation he was placed in. Employees should not have to take on multiple roles because another employee is not doing their job. It creates unnecessary delays for customers and puts extra pressure on employees who are already working hard. I also want to recognize jimmy for his outstanding professionalism. Throughout my wait, he remained polite, kept me informed about what was going on, apologized for the delay, and continued treating me with kindness and respect despite having so much on his plate. His communication and positive attitude are the reason I stayed patient and waited instead of leaving. I hope the Pilot store looks into the maintenance employee’s conduct and ensures that employees are held accountable for the responsibilities they are assigned. Jimmy deserves recognition for stepping up and maintaining excellent customer service under difficult circumstances, but he should not be expected to do someone else’s job while they are not working. I hope this situation is addressed, not only to improve the customer experience but also to support employees like Jimmy who consistently go above and beyond.

  NO stock on drinks AND the fountain was out of service. Restroom was nasty, toilet wouldn’t flush without 3 handle pushes and staff didn’t even look up from their phone to check our snacks out.

  Clean. One of the cleanest restrooms I've been in in a LONG time. Very respectful employees.

  The gas price was the best in the area. The place could use some TLC, but it's a truck stop. The clientele was...interesting...
