- EHEd HardinOct 2, 20263.0Bought tires here. Took truck back for 2nd rotation after getting tires. Guy says one of your lugs was cross threaded, it'll likely snap off your post but don't worry you can fix it poetry easy if you have any mechanical ability. ?? I tell him that they were the last ones to run the lugs on when I last got my tires rotated. 15 minutes later they tell me I'm good to go. I ask if it snapped it off, then they point to it & handed me the post and lug nut. I ask Can I get this fixed? They say, Yeah probably at any mechanic. Run those lugs on with pneumatic without first starting them by hand will always lead to problems. I know places like this always have people trying to get something out of them or blame them but this was legit on them and they just shrugged me off.

I went back the next day and they credited the money I had spent on the patch toward a new tire. The moral of the story is, they will try their hardest to save YOU your hard earned money. If it doesn't work, they will make it right. That's great business in my book.

I rolled in expecting the usual slow motion misery of car maintenance and instead watched these guys work so fast I thought they were trying to break a land speed record. They stacked new tires and used tires and tires that looked like they had been blessed by a monk in the mountains. They plugged things and rotated things and probably realigned my sense of purpose. They gave me a deal on grandma’s barely used Yokos that felt like winning a small lottery. It is my favorite place to spend money on payday because they make me feel like a responsible adult who knows things about vehicles. If only I could find some used running shoes with the same energy.
