- LRLynn Ransdell1 day ago5.0I limped into Lee Tire after plugging a tire. The service man said he could patch the tire. That was great except the patch didn't hold. I went back the next day and they credited the money I had spent on the patch toward a new tire. The moral of the story is, they will try their hardest to save YOU your hard earned money. If it doesn't work, they will make it right. That's great business in my book.

I rolled in expecting the usual slow motion misery of car maintenance and instead watched these guys work so fast I thought they were trying to break a land speed record. They stacked new tires and used tires and tires that looked like they had been blessed by a monk in the mountains. They plugged things and rotated things and probably realigned my sense of purpose. They gave me a deal on grandma’s barely used Yokos that felt like winning a small lottery. It is my favorite place to spend money on payday because they make me feel like a responsible adult who knows things about vehicles. If only I could find some used running shoes with the same energy.

After the tall curly headed man changed the tire he told me I had a thirty day warranty. So when my tire cracked at the side wall and would no longer hold air I called about them honoring the warranty. My tire was dry rot or whatever, so I bring it back like they told me to... Like I said, up until now, I have had nothing but great experiences, but I pull up and the same man that changed it comes to look at it and says they dont have any tires in the shop like that and that couldn't have been them. I guess someone came and rotated my tires while I was asleep. Instead of honoring the warranty he wanted me to pay $70 for another tire that for all I know would have done the same thing within a matter of weeks then I would be out $50+$70+$third tire.
