  I love using Enterprise to rent cars from. Their associates are a pleasure to work with from the moment of being picked up to returning the car. I've rented from a couple different locations and all have been a pleasure to work with. Enterprise will always have my business.

  Poor service and disrespectful employees. They will cancel your reservations and lie about vehicle availability. They will deny you service if you show up and belittle you.

  If I could leave 0 stars I would. I reserved a car from this location 2 weeks in advance for a pickup at noon. I was called at 11:00 AM to be told they didn’t have a car ready. We waited 5 hours and when we got there we realized they only had a compact SUV and not the standard SUV we reserved. At that point they offered a 10% discount but didn’t apply it to the compact rate, it was applied to the standard rate. So we ultimately just paid the compact rate instead of the standard because we were getting a compact ride. So no real discount there. The SUV smelled like Cheech and Chong lived in it, there was so much build up on the inside of the windows that they wouldn’t come clean and we couldn’t see out of them, the ceiling and visors looked like a Pepsi had exploded inside and was never cleaned off. When we returned the car I asked to speak to the manager. The branch manager then offered a $100 discount but only applied $87 and told me he would have the district manager call me by the end of the day and that was 48 hours ago. So here we are. Never again. Update Finally heard from the district manager and they have heard and addressed all of my concerns. As of today, 7/25/26 I am Still waiting for my refund. It’s been 10days since I returned it.

  I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the customer service I received from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Mt. Washington, Kentucky. I have always expected professionalism and customer care from Enterprise, especially when renting through an insurance claim following an automobile accident. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite and caused a significant hardship for both myself and my family. After being involved in a motor vehicle accident, my insurance company arranged a rental vehicle through Enterprise. Once I received my reservation, I attempted to call the Mt. Washington location several times to confirm the details, but no one answered the phone. Since I happened to be in the area, I stopped by the store in person. I spoke with an employee named Ian, who I later learned was the branch manager. Ian confirmed my reservation date and time and explained that Enterprise would pick me up from the body shop where I would be dropping off my damaged vehicle. On the day of my reservation, an Enterprise employee named Gene arrived to pick me up as scheduled. Gene was courteous, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire interaction. While we were driving to the branch, he informed me that I would need my driver's license. I explained that I had experienced an extremely traumatic week following my accident and had unfortunately lost my wallet. However, I did have a valid, unexpired Kentucky driver's license at home that was issued in my maiden name. Gene contacted Ian to explain my situation and verify whether my valid driver's license could be accepted. Rather than discussing the circumstances or offering any assistance, Ian immediately instructed Gene not to pick me up and stated that I would need to make another reservation. At that point, I had already dropped my vehicle off at the body shop and had no transportation. To essentially leave me stranded. Gene informed Ian that I was already in the vehicle. Ian responded with “drop her back off”. Gene then handed me the phone. I again explained that I had a valid, unexpired driver's license, only under my maiden name. Despite my explanation, Ian canceled my reservation and told me there was nothing he could do. Because this response did not seem right, I contacted five other Enterprise locations to verify the policy. Every location informed me that my valid, unexpired driver's license would have been acceptable. The following day, I contacted Ian again and explained what the other Enterprise branches had told me. His response was that my driver's license would, in fact, be acceptable and that he had misunderstood my explanation. This was extremely frustrating because I had provided him with the exact same information the previous day before he canceled my reservation. By that point, however, the damage had already been done. Ian informed me that he had already given my reserved vehicle to another customer and would not have another vehicle available for two additional days. He was not apologetic. I asked what he could do to correct the situation, and he simply stated there was nothing he could do other than refer me to the Shepherdsville Enterprise location. I then spoke with Sam at the Shepherdsville branch. He advised that he could have a vehicle available for me later that same day. Unfortunately, due to staffing limitations, I could not be picked up. Due to Ian not only was my self but children as well were inconvenienced. Ian gave no empathy/care. Did not try to make it right. Simply handed me to the next store to get rid of me. I will never go back to this location nor another enterprise.
