- TRThomas RitchieApr 25, 20261.0Came in today for coffee with my wife. After getting our coffee, we went to get in line. We were behind one customer who was having payment issues. No big deal. We were in a bit of a hurry so we opted for the self check out. After ringing out stuff up and following the payment prompts, processing haulted. I alerted the attention of Gabe. A simple "excuse me, our machine is frozen" was met with passive aggression from Gabe in his response. We patiently waited for him to decide to come assist us. While waiting the machine prompted us that our session was about to expire would we like to continue. Naturally we selected yes, our payment was in limbo via my debit card. Gabe shows up. The propt reappears, he selects "no". My payment process and we are set to go. Gabe waits till we are about out of ear shot to say, "doesn't appear to be froze to me". I give this place a one star on employee performance. To speak to customers with such regard is not acceptable over such a simple transaction. Gabe could use retraining.
