  The employees at this location are very nice and the wash bay does a decent job. The issue is the corporate structure. They say if you sign up for a wash subscription, that you can cancel at any time with no fees. That's a lie. When you try to cancel, they will stretch it out by offering other deals. And then when you finally get them to cancel, they'll charge you $25 for another month even if you still had time on your previous month. Call them out on it and they'll site some fine print that says they can still charge you for another month AFTER cancellation. Be warned.

  I had a wonderful experience at this car wash, it was my first time in and i was speaking with the employee Laila and she was letting me know of all the benefits of the membership without pressuring me into getting it, with what she told me i signed up and i’m in there often, they always leave me with a shiny car!

  I went to the Zips on Hurstbourne Ln. yesterday with one of my two cars that I have under the Zips unlimited wash plan. As has been the case for my last five or six visits to this location half of the vacuums were not working. Also there were no towels or cleaner available. I ended up leaving without using one of the few working vacuums since all were in use and the users showed no signs of being finished. This visit is typical of the last six or eight months of visits at this location and the locations on Breckenridge Ln. and Bardstown Rd. All of these locations rarely have more than half of the vacuums working and rarely have an adequate supply of towels and cleaner available. I hesitate to blame the employees who spend way more time sitting in the office than doing their jobs because they are not being properly managed. Obviously they have no fear of their bosses showing up since they are not keeping up with providing clean towels, filled cleaner bottles and a clean parking lot. The middle and upper management of this company is very poor to say the least. I wrote an email to them about six weeks ago and got a positive response. However they failed to take care of anything I complained about. In fact everything I complained about has only gotten worse. When the unlimited plans on both of my cars expire on 4/26/2026 I will cancel them and take my business to Mike’s or Speedwash. I urge other dissatisfied Zips customers to do their same. To anyone considering using Zips for a single wash or an unlimited plan my advice is that you should not waste your money on a brand that charges your credit card every month and then consistently fails to deliver on the services they promised.
