  This was my first time coming to Valvoline. I needed an oil change real bad and I was serviced by Mr. Lorenzo and Alijah. I told them I needed an oil change, filter change, and cabin filter change. They got me together and they didn't try to push anything on me but they did recommend some services I may need. I told them I would come back at a later time for the recommended service.

  Went in for an oil change, they overfilled it by about 3 quarts which led to countless issues with our vehicle. The claim process took almost a month to resolve and thru that i will say Mason, the store manager handled things well but from the intial mistake to the time it took to get it corrected, would overall recommend a different company entirely. Hope this was used as a learning experience for the Valvoline team as a whole.

  Valvoline broke my car and refused to pay. Showed up for a routine oil change with a hybrid. They told me the automatic transmission fluid was due and so was the radiator. I told them go ahead and do it all. I spent two hours in a hot car while they cussed over my vehicle. Anytime another vehicle showed up, they would work on the other car before returning to mine. At the end of it, they told me if codes showed up on the dash while driving, I should take it to the nearest Valvoline and have them clear the codes. The next day, the codes showed up so I took it to my local Valvoline, they refused to clear the codes because something was very wrong with the vehicle. The mechanics said the other location had messed up the car and encouraged me to take it to Toyota to run diagnostics- they assured my husband the company would pay out. Toyota said it needs a new hybrid battery. The location that damaged the car refused to pay for the diagnostics test or fix it, the store manager declined our claim, and the area manager backed him up. When I called corporate, they said there was nothing they could do- they were not liable. We can't afford to fix it, the mechanics at our Valvoline location confirmed the other store damaged the car, and the company "investigated" themselves and finds no fault. The woman on the phone told me the company "cannot pay out every claim" that gets filed. The store manager in Louisville told my husband he was lucky to be offered a free oil change. I'm at a loss. We had a vehicle that worked and they took that away from us. We paid over $500 for services that broke our vehicle. Never going to Valvoline again for anything. As far as I'm concerned, they're overpriced crooks.
