  I have been using Strickland Brothers on Poplar Level Rd for several years now. They are always great, polite, and helpful with everything. Will continue to use them.

  Came in after work and they got promptly to work on my car. The experience was customer friendly and quick, and very thorough. Gonna get my oil changed from here from now on.

  NEVER AGAIN! i went here a few times and never had any issues. i went back to get an oil change and i was right at the mileage that it was due. I pulled in and it was hot and i could tell the main guy was not feeling it. he was like youre right at the mileage however, you can technically go over 1000 more, so no need to do it now. i had 2 kids with me so i was like you know what? cool, ill come back later. i go back 2 weeks later they pull me in (same dude) and he's like you have a lot of oil on the oil pan so you should take it somewhere to get checked. no need for us to do an oil change and then you go somewhere and have to do it again. at that time i was about to go to florida and knew itd be a while before i was able to get it to a shop so i said, no i'd rather just go ahead and do it. he went back and 4th with me trying to convince me why he didn't think he should do it. i got so frustrated i just left. if i have to beg or convince you to do your job then forget it because you 're not going to do a good job. that is several time they turned away business. if i was the business owner i would not be happy at all. THEN, i had referred a friend to take a car there (before all this) he took it and got an oil change on his company vehicle. well yesterday it kept shutting off. took it to mechanic and they said that the oil was SO low (less than a 1/2 a qrt) that it kept shutting off. He had over 1000 miles before he was due and no signs of leakage. i do not trust this company anymore and will let everyone know, stuck to Valvoline or jiffy lube (never had issues with either of them) i wish i could remember dudes name who did it, he looked like he was on another planet (if you see him you'll know exactly who im talking about) stay away!!!! trust me. i tried to call and make this complaint over the phone but SURPRISE!! THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE EITHER!!! id literally expect NOTHING less!!

  These guys are very professional and did an outstanding job. They treat veterans with exceptional service AND we get a 25% discount. I was in and out of there in no time at all and never had to get out of my car. If you are in the Popular Level area drop in and let them drop your oil and refill it with high-quality Duramax products. If you are not in the area it is worth the drive. You will spend more time traveling than you will in the service bay. Finally, I recommend the gas treatment as well. It has improved my gas mileage and my car is running better and smoother than before. Not being from Louisville I needed a place I can trust. Strickland Brothers is it!!!
