  I took my precious, exotic, and highly expensive 2018 Audi R8 plus Spyder to Safelite to get a crack in the windshield repaired. Every one I interacted with was extremely respectful, professional, and they explained the entire process extremely well. If you are worried at all don't be! Check out the Louisville Safelite for all your auto glass repair needs, you will NOT be disappointed!

  It was easy to book the appointment and the tech was very quick and eligible and installed the windshield to OEM specifications. So we used an aftermarket glass, only difference is the glass does not have the manufacturers symbol on it of the car

  They called and cancelled on the day of the appointmentdue to parts being broken. Rescheduled a week later, then no one showed up. No communication. I called and they blamed it on "AI not routing the technician". I paid over $800 to depend on AI scheduling??? No thank you.

  Windshield was replaced but the wiper arms were installed poorly. They wouldn’t go down and they were misaligned. One of the new wiper blades actually broke off the arm when I tested it and almost scratched the new windshield. It was so difficult to get in touch with a real person from safelite to fix it. I called multiple times and spoke to a host of AI receptionists before I got a remote receptionist that was at least a real person. She called the local office on my behalf. They didn’t have any upcoming openings but said I could bring my car in at a specific time between appointments. So I had to drive 30+ mins to their shop during my work day for them to fix the mistake. This would’ve been impossible, not to mention illegal, if it had been raining. I want to say that all the real people I spoke to were very kind and courteous but I can’t believe how much my time was wasted just trying to get this fixed.

  Unsafe Windshield Replacement – Periodic Advanced Driver Assistance Alerts and Systems Issues I have been dealing with an issue for over a month. After Safelite replaced my windshield twice within a week the alert system began to throw repeated errors. I tried to address it with the company, but rather than own up to their mistake they push it back on me as a pre-existing issue. The store manage washed their hands of the issue rather than do the right thing. I have had no issues before the windshield was replaced. They only started after a heavy rain a couple of days after the replacement. The issue went away when the rain went away. We the rain returned last week the issue came back. I have reached out several times to speak with management and have never received a return call. I have been told many times that someone would reach out and that has yet to happen. UPDATE: Since I did not receive the a call back from management that I was promised on multiple occasions I escalated the issue to the Better Business Bureau. I have continued to get messages through BBB attempting to push the issue back on to me. I still have not spoken to anyone regarding the issue. The company made a mistake and should address the issue appropriately. This is a safety issue. the forward-facing camera is affected. Causing the advanced driver assistance alerts and systems to throw errors after periods of heavy rain. At this point it is only errors, but if this is not addressed it could become a much bigger issue.
