  If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. This was the worst experience I've ever had renting a car from National. I rent from the airport location all the time, usually 2–3 times a month, and I've never had an experience like this. When I arrived, Anthony was sitting on his phone. I waited about five minutes while he continued looking at his phone before helping me. When he finally assisted me, he said there were no cars available because the vehicle I had reserved had been recalled, and the only replacement he tried to give me smelled terrible. I went back upstairs, and the manager at the counter upgraded me to a luxury vehicle. However, when I returned downstairs, another manager tried to give me a smaller car than the one I had originally reserved. I refused to accept it. Not only did National fail to provide the vehicle I reserved, but the customer service was also extremely poor. Because of all the delays and confusion, I missed my trip with my kids. I've been a loyal National customer for years, but after this experience, I will never rent from this location again. The employees I dealt with appeared to be new, and the level of customer service was completely unacceptable. I expected much better from National.

  Staff at Louisville airport was great even though the Honda Odyssey had some minor issues.

  I have used this specific rental center multiple times and I cannot express the amount of costumer service I have received. I had an issue pop up that wasn't anyone's fault and they went above and beyond to make sure my family got home safe. I feel that the prices are very competitive to other option and agian, it's the costumer service that brings me back.

  As an emerald member, I travel very often for work and utilize national for the company i work for. The process was very smooth until I ran into a couple of unexpected issues. We were assisted by Torrence who was very patient, helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole process easy. His customer service and personability were 5 stars.
