Rise my brother-in-law use my voice of reason. My experience with Kent towerie in saint Matthew's was the worst experience. I've ever had. I have a tire go blow out on the highway from the sidewalk, and I had an extended warranty, or the roller hazard warning. And when I went to the kentawary, the girl who waited on me with all the tattoos was very rude. She charted, they chart, they gave me a lesser tire than what I had on on the car. They also charged me to take take the tire off the car. Put it on the rim, the balance it and put it back on there. They charged me for all of that, and they gave me the lesser. Tire, which was totally unsatisfactory. They have cost kentari, a customer. I've always shopped with kentauri, but I will never buy another thing from that ever again

I walked into Ken Towery store at the corner of Shelbyville Rd and La Grange Rd, a location I've trusted for my business needs for the last 25 years since it's close to my office and asked for help with a tire that was slowly losing air pressure. New manage, Bobby, told me to pull my car around the building. I asked him if he can step outside to take a quick look first, as every previous manager had done for me over the years. Those words were the last ones he could take as a normal human-being. He raised his voice, told me he wasn't not going to service my car and told me to leave, I argued that he supposed to help customers and not to confront them. After those words Bobby has lost all the sanity he had screaming at me from the top of his lungs that I should go to my own country. That's when the dots connected for me: He had detected my accent and lost it. I told him United States of America is my country and my children were born here. I asked him if he ever heard an expression that "customer is always right"? He looked like he was trying hard not to come after me. Instead, he run towards the service area, threw open the door where mechanics were working, and screamed, " Someone take him out". Customers in the waiting area were visibly concerned. I had walked into the store with nothing more than a simple tire issue. Two days later, knowing managers rotating shifts, I returned hoping to see the manager who had always been courteous and helpful. I wasn't lucky. This man, Bobby, saw me through the window, rushed to the entrance and closed the door before I could even come inside. It is difficult to understand how the man who has absolutely no breaks, no respect for the customers, no patience whatsoever or emotional self-control can be placed in a customer-facing management position?

Never use this shop for any repairs or oil changes! My wife took her car here for a routine oil change and they told her she needed her valve cover replaced. They wanted to charge $400 for a $75 part. We purchased our own and they reluctantly installed it. About a week later her check engine light started blinking. We took it to an independent shop for a second opinion and they informed us that whoever installed the valve cover ruined it by screwing in the bolts on the valve cover in way too tight. When we spoke with the someone at Ken Towery he was extremely rude and disrespectful and called the other shop crooks and refused to fix their mistake. We started calling corporate and submitted photos to at least get the labor refunded but have been waiting 3 months, with multiple assurances that they would call us and they have done nothing. But that’s not all. We went to the independent shop for an oil change recently and they informed us that the people who did our last oil change(Ken Towery) had ruined the oil pan because the bolts were screwed in too tight(the same issue with the valve cover). All we wanted was for them to own up to their mistakes but they have either refused or ignored us. A $600 repair has now cost us $2000 dollars. Don’t try to get your car repaired here because they will just do more damage and then blame you.

I would give negative stars if possible. I was a repeat customer here but I will NEVER come back again. After getting an oil change here, I was told that my valve cover needed to be replaced. So when I returned, they replaced it and everything seemed fine for about a week until my check engine light was blinking (dangerous to drive). I had to get my car towed to another mechanic because I wanted a second opinion and long story short, Ken Towerys technicians obviously didn’t do the job correctly leaving me to have to pay another mechanic to fix the work. Additionally, I have to buy another oil pan because when Ken Towery changed my oil, the technicians screwed on the boil way too tight and striped everything. I am now $2000 in the hole ( would have been a $600 repair). I have contacted corporate to help me resolve the problems 8 times (yes seriously, 8 times) and have been told that I need to wait for the regional or district manger to call me ( they haven’t and it’s been 3 months now). I waited to do this review because I understand everyone makes mistakes and wanted to give Ken Towery a chance to make it right. I even called the store 2 times before calling corporate and the young man who I talked to working the desk was incredibly rude to me. So WARNING to all, don’t go to Ken Towery for anything!!
