I had a great experience working with Shawn Smith during my car-buying experience. Shawn was friendly, professional, patient, and made the process feel much easier and less stressful. He took the time to answer my questions, listened to what I was looking for, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was happy with my purchase. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and would definitely recommend Shawn Smith to anyone looking for a vehicle. If you’re in the market for a car, be sure to ask for Shawn!

Worst customer service ever. Don’t buy from this location particularly. We bought 3 vehicles from Jeff Wyler Cincinnati and when we went to get another CRV hybrid from Louisville. The guy approached us from outside and started saying they don’t have any CRV Hybrid except one which is Hybrid Touring and everything else is listed on the website. This is how you guys treat the customer who has purchased 3 cars and gave you business. He didn’t even let us go inside or took us inside the building and talk to us and know more about our ask. I personally that sales person wasn’t even interested in selling anything. I also indicated that it’s not customer service level I expected from this big name. I would go back to Cincinnati Jeff Wyler location and buy one as at-least they provide better customer service. Time of the visit: 08/29/2026 2:45 PM. I hope this honest review will help others.

First off I would like to mention that I’ve held off writing a review because I just wanted to be done with this dealership but after a oil changed maintenance notification popped up on my used car that I purchased 2 weeks ago I’m fed up. 3 years ago I leased a Honda civic from them, which I’ve never done and they took advantage of that and largely overcharged me (should of done my research I know but still not a good practice). Then I decided that I would buy the car out and later trade it in as it made the most financial sense. In the process of buying it out the store manager LIED trying to charge me a dealership fee for buying it out when there is NO DEALERSHIP FEE for BUYING OUT your leased vehicle. Turning it in is a different case but I was buying it out and that’s not at all the same. He even tried to google search it which we then had to read it out to him to prove that the fee was not something he could charge us for. They ended up taking it off after going back and forth. I then shopped around for a used vehicle I could trade the Honda in with. This dealership had a car I was interested in but wasn’t sure I was going to buy as I had another appointment the same day for a car that was lower than what was my budget but decided to stop in since it was on the way. We test drove it, liked it and sat down to talk numbers. I very much made it clear what I wanted to be at and if they couldn’t reach it, that was fine I would move on, no big deal. I gave them my keys to do the appraisal on my old car and then they preceded to come back with the lowest offer I’ve seen. I told them there was no way I’d put negative equity on a new loan and there was no reason they gave me such a horrible appraisal compared to what the cars are selling for and what I’ve been offered in the past. They also kept trying to give me monthly payments way above my budget. I had to ask for my keys 3 times and my partner had to get somewhat aggressive before they gave them back. AGAIN I was very clear with what I wanted and if they couldn’t match it I would move on. There was no reason for the back and forth either tell me you can’t or can. We got followed out of the parking lot and finally the used car manger gave us a deal we were willing to work with. I would also like to mention that the same manger that lied previously about fees lied about how long the used car had been on the lot. We decided that we wanted to take the car to an outside shop to check if there was anything of concern with the car. The only thing the outside shop said we needed to ensure was that the spark plugs needed replacing and to double check that there was two keys (we were already told there were 2 keys but need to make sure as the car’s app would not work without two keys). Went back to Honda told them we needed to see the second pair of keys and the spark plugs charged. They said no problem and proceeded to take 30 minutes trying to find the second pair. Obviously they didn’t have them and told us they could either get the second pair made or charge the spark plugs. We were so over it at this point we no longer had any energy to argue. We agreed on getting the keys made, which was a whole other issue (saying they had called the dealership making the keys when they in fact did not), and just doing the spark plugs ourselves. Moving to present time I just received a routine maintenance request two weeks after getting the car. Meaning they literally didn’t even change the oil before selling the car. Which I know is not required but definitely is terrible practice and I know completely understand why you guys are not accredited with BBB. I will be adding this review onto BBB as well. If you have to go to this dealership only deal with the used car manager as he was the only one that seemed like he wasn’t trying to lie his way into making sales. I would give this business 1 star but I don’t want them to be able to delete it as I believe that’s what they are doing.

Be careful when trading in a car. If your car is financed and you want to trade it in at this dealership and get another car from them, be careful. Make sure you turn off the automatic payment for your car loan, because this dealership waits until the amount owed on your loan becomes lower. I traded in my Tesla and got a Toyota from them, and I forgot to turn off the autopay. My bank told me that they called on June 15 and asked how much needed to be paid off on the car. They were given the remaining balance. My autopay was still active, and a payment was taken from me on June 22. Then they called again on June 25 and asked for the remaining loan balance again. At that point they were given a lower amount because my monthly car payment had already been deducted. So they paid less for the car that they were supposed to pay off back at the beginning of June. I don’t know whose pocket that $577 ended up in — whether it was someone in the finance department or the person who sold me the car at the beginning of June. In general, be careful when trading in a financed car. Two different people who work at this dealership told me that they would forward the issue to the finance department and that someone would contact me. But no one has contacted me yet. I overpaid $577.
