  I wish I could remember her name but the young lady working the counter at SDF airport late on Oct 2nd was AWESOME. I was in Louisville for a family medical emergency. I had reservations at a different company and when I went to get the vehicle they told me they didn't have one. I explained my situation and I was told can't help you..you will have to come back tomorrow. Or go see if one of our competitors can help you. I was just flabbergasted. I had to get to the hospital that night. So I went to your counter and explained the situation I was in and she took such good care of me. Kindness, Compassion, Professionalism. You could not ask for a better employee.

  Was never told in reservation for 2 weeks will be given any car they choose was given a old subcompact which was not even washed properly and which could hardly do 60 miles/hour. This is after spending 1200$ for 2 weeks.

  Schon öfters einen Mietwagen bei Alamo genommen und bisher immer zufrieden gewesen. Diesmal in Buffalo, NY (wie immer mit vollem Tank) empfangen und am 05. September am Airport in Louisville, KY (wie immer vor Abgabe wieder getankt) zurückgegeben. Und dann bekommen wir keine Quittung wie sonst, sondern stattdessen nur die Aussage "kommt p. mail". Und auf der Abrechnung p. Mail steht dann plötzlich "refueling charge $29.13 für knapp 5 gal. ... der vermerkte km-Stand ist niedriger als der bei der Abgabe fotografierte... das sieht doch sehr merkwürdig aus, oder? Und jetzt versuche man mal, den Vorgang zu reklamieren! Alamo-Deutschland ist nicht zuständig, die angegebene mail-Adresse bei Alamo-USA funktioniert nicht, man möge doch anrufen. Das wiederum ist aus Deutschland eher schwierig... Die abgebuchte Summe kann ich auch nicht einfach zurückbuchen lassen, da ein Teil davon ja berechtigt ist. Jedenfalls sind wir ziemlich sauer! Alamo - wir wohl nie wieder! Habe jetzt eine Antwort von "Isabella" bekommen, mit der ich nichts anfangen kann! Der Chat funktioniert (aus Deutschland?) nicht und eine Mailadresse gibt es nicht. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich Minuspunkte vergeben!!! Sorry - das hat nichts mit Customer-SERVICE zu tun! :-((

  Booked a standard vehicle with Alamo’s skip-the-line / accelerated check-in at the Kentucky airport. That feature was not honored. The Alamo booth in the rental lot was closed. Enterprise staff were issuing Alamo cars. I waited in a long line with employees who seemed confused about reservations and process. No one directed skip-the-line customers around the queue. When I finally received the car—a Nissan Altima—it was dirty inside and out. The interior and exterior needed a proper clean before it should have been handed over. Embarrassing having to pull up to meetings with bird poo and filth all over the paint.. the windshield is so dirty the wiper fluid did nothing If you book Alamo here, assume you may stand in the regular Enterprise line and inspect the car carefully before you leave the lot. Take photos of the condition. Would not use this location again based on this pickup Edit: went back to swap vehicle because of an issue with a nail in the tire. I was in and out in a better vehicle under 10 mins and the people who assisted me were excellent 👌🏼
