- EWErica WilliamsonJul 2, 20261.0I placed an online order.I got the email that said for curbside.Pickup, call the phone number for the store.When you get there, I called.They placed me on hold for approximately ten to twelve minutes.Until they finally picked up the phone, when they did get to the phone I told them my information told them I was sitting outside, and about two minutes later, some mail comes to the door and opens the door without coming to my car.He yells from the door telling me that I have to come in.So when I came in, I showed him the email or tried to show him the email that says, for curbside, pickup, to call the store, when you arrive.And he wanted to argue with me and demanded that I leave his store as far as i'm concerned, this dude is a jerk.And I will not be back

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
