- AGAnthony GoodrichSep 9, 20261.0Brought in 2016 Ecoboost Mustang, mechanic diagnosed shift module, but doesn't work on transmissions. Recommended this shop, now I have to find a new mechanic also. This shop said they smelled the transmission fluid and said spend 5K on new transmission instead of 1500 for module, no pulling the pan and checking for metal, no real diagnosis, didn't even check fluid level. Said they couldn't warranty the shift module. Took to Ford, hate paying dealership prices but at least they did a diagnosis and it was the shift module, 2 year warranty on it. Any mechanic/technician worth their salt knows smell, feel and look don't mean crap unless water is in it. I think they are scamming people and wanted my transmission to resale, probably would have claimed new transmission installed and put a junk yard one in. I'm a former mechanic and smelled BS from jump, my wife had called them for me so guess they thought they had a woman they could take advantage of. Horrible place! Scam don't go!
- JCjeronda colbertJun 20, 20265.0⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stand-up warranty work - Danny made it right Got a full remanufactured 4L60E transmission through ETA Warranty. After install, it threw a solenoid error code. Danny handled it perfectly: 1. Diagnosed fast - Found the faulty TCC solenoid on the reman unit 2. Fixed under warranty - Replaced solenoid, no extra charge, no hassle 3. Made it right - After the solenoid fix, van drives perfect 4. Proven results - Drove 370 miles home to Detroit 2 days ago - 80mph, smooth, no codes, no issues Most shops would blame the part and send you away. Danny took ownership and got it sorted in 2 days. That’s rare. If you need transmission work or warranty help, this is your shop. Thanks Danny for standing behind the work.
