  I will say I’ve used Valvoline for YEARS and unfortunately that road has come to an end. I went in for an oil change. The next day, my check engine light and VSC light flipped on. I looked online and it mentioned it could be a loose hose, loose oil cap, etc. I will admit that I don’t look under my own car hood, so I went back to Valvoline. The guy said they don’t touch those items under my hood, I specified even the oil cap and he said “not much”. Whatever, I get it. Nobody wants the liability of messing up. So they looked under my hood, checked the oil level (which was fine), and sent me on my way. I, someone who NEVER looks under my hood (mainly because I’m not familiar with the parts) noticed a disconnected hose. How ironic. This problem happened less than 12 hours after my oil change and the 3 guys looking under my hood failed to notice this issue, which I can only assume was something they may have initially caused. The warning lights are off and my car runs so much better now. I’ve been a customer as long as I’ve been driving but from now on, I’d rather pay more to go somewhere that will look out for me and my car.

  It was a good experience. I was able to stay in my car, the workers were all nice & very professional. It took only 10 minutes from start to finish to get my oil changed but I didn’t feel rushed. They checked the tire pressure to make sure they were correct at no charge! It was a good price & great service—so much easier & quicker than husband doing it at home. I definitely plan to go back!

  They added a surcharge to my oil change, and when I asked what that was about, they blamed it on rising gas and oil prices. I maintain my own car, but this was my aunt's car. She asked me to take it here as a favor, so I'm very familiar with the price of 5 quarts of oil. Over the last 5 years, prices have fluctuated between $20 and $30 for full-synthetic Valvoline oil, depending on where you buy it. And I even checked today, and prices are the same, nothing outside the normal price range. And that’s the retail price. They manufactured the oil, so this shop gets a huge discount on top of that. I think it’s very scammy of them to use our current economic situation to scam people out of more money. I’m not sure whether they do this with every customer or if it’s because I used a coupon they sent me. Either way, there’s no reason for them to add that charge, even if it’s an extra 4 dollars. If they do this to every customer, that amount adds up for them. On top of all that, they asked me if I wanted to replace the air filter, which “looked dirty,” even though it had been replaced no more than a month ago. Very scammy shop in my opinion, so just be cautious of their practices.
