The staff were polite, but I was not happy that they used top-side oil extraction rather than draining the oil through the plug. No one explained the method beforehand or gave me a choice. Had they asked, I would have requested the drain-plug method or declined service.

Great service, only complaint is that I paid for new headlights but unfortunately they still don’t work.
Also didn’t get a receipt, I should’ve asked so that’s on me.

This location used a more expensive grade of oil for the oil change than what we asked for. When we complained about the price, they gave a very long answer about how they had done nothing wrong. In this case, they “won” the argument, but lost the customer. We will never go back there. Even in the disagreement they were courteous and professional, but were in no way interested in customer satisfaction—only that they had “followed procedure.”

Ive came here twice and the difference in the two visits were like night and day. The first time in May of 2026, everything went perfectly. I found out that day that my front left signal wasn’t working. They even fixed that well too. The last time I came, late July of 2026, it was not what was expected. Apparently my front left signal wasn’t working again, and after the bulb change, it still did not work. That bulb change was taken off the bill and it was my problem to fix another time. No big deal. They said they didn’t have a bulb to fit it and they didn’t carry them. I found that weird because they had the bulb type back in May, but whatever. Some other weird things were happening as well and I don’t have the proper terminology for the plastic screws that hold down a plastic cover on my engine. But those black screws went flying in the air and were never replaced. I assumed they would put new ones on or they didn’t matter. My maintenance light wasn’t turned off either and is still on. These are all things that I wouldn’t notice while I was there and nor would I think anything of them. And I’m not someone that tells a professional how to do their job when I myself have no knowledge of it. So off I went and everything seemed ok. A week later, I went to someone to fix my signal. He’s the one that informed me of the three missing plastic screws on the engine cover and he discovered something else strange. Someone had left a wrench in my engine. He asked me if it was my wrench and I laughed because I’ve never used a wrench in my life and wouldn’t know what to do with one! He said that it could’ve fallen into my engine or fallen out while driving and caused damage to another car. This information was disturbing to me because, wow, what if that wrench had fallen out? The mechanic asked to keep the wrench because according to him it was very valuable. I mean, I’m sorry I didn’t give yall back your wrench, but something really bad could’ve happened and I just want to move on with my life and not go back there. I gave 3 stars because the workers were nice and I don’t take these things personal either and I understand we all make mistakes.

I came in for an oil change with a coupon for 10% off and was in and out in 10 minutes (more on that later). I use my vehicle for Uber deliveries and after leaving Valvoline I picked up a delivery that was out in the country. After retrieving the item I got on New Circle and when i got up to 55 there was a horrible racket underneath my vehicle. I had to pull over to the shoulder in heavy traffic and discovered the skid plate had become detached and was scraping the pavement when the wind caught it. I had to continue the delivery at slow speeds, which was inconvenient and dangerous. When i finally got back to Valvoline almost an hour later i was livid and screamed at the staff. The manager talked me down and his professionalism was the only positive part of the experience. The Valvoline business model is flawed and their ‘Pit Crew at Indy’ approach, while impressive, is too rushed and bound to result in details being missed. There is no way of knowing what else they might have forgotten and that thought is troubling, to say the least. I assume i got fresh oil but who knows? It boggles the mind that 6 people working in tandem can screw up something as simple as an oil change when that is basically their only job but it happened. I will not be back.
