They were well under the time of coverage. So Advance doesn’t carry this battery anymore. Long and short I had to pay 211.00 before the warranty would be honored. I absolutely will never…… buy another battery from Advance . I absolutely understand why the company is struggling with market share.

This is the part store of part stores, in Lexington. the best of the best in a bit of a tight spot. And when I came in, talked to Braden, I didn't need much, but I didn't have much either and he really worked with me to help me get it done. These guys are their brothers keepers, thank you, all this company did a great job when they selected Braden, with a great face to this company.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
