  I visited this location a couple of days ago after being towed home from work. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Ed. He helped me figure out which battery I needed for my vehicle and even offered to help me with replacing it. He ended up helping me carry my new battery to the car because it was so heavy. Ed went above and beyond and made a terrible day a little brighter. The staff at this AutoZone was knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding on a very stressful day. I will definitely be shopping at this location from now on.

  My brother needed a battery we spent 172 on a battery from 10/23 the guy Said it was old so they would discount it. Never did paying that for a 3 year old battery is crazy. The guy helping install it pulled to hard reveal the wire another guy came out and rudely said your on your own. That place has the rudest people ever don’t go buy anything

  Justin Collins helped me replace a dead battery. The old battery was badly corroded on the posts and the steel connections had been badly eroded. Also, the nuts and bolts were rusted and needed to be replaced. In addition, before he removed the battery from the battery posts which secure it in the vehicle, he said they were brittle. Sure enough, one then broke. He took the time to look through additional parts they had in the store to find to one of these posts and nuts and bolts that worked. So he Jerry rigged everything to get it to work. He also replaced the post pads and explained how to better maintain everything to keep the battery clean in the future. This store is not the closest to my home, but I choose to frequent this store in the future.

  Exceptional service! My 85-year old Mom was broken down a few businesses down from this location. I called and Colin walked down to where my mom was located, gave her a jump and then replaced her battery. He even called me back to let me know that he had taken care of her. Colin went above and beyond. That level of service and care is hard to come by. Thank you, Colin!

  My experience at this location was horrible. I called Autozone, thinking I showed up at the right location since I was an out-of-towner that frequently visits J-Town had an issue with my alternator. I spoke with a guy earlier letting him know that I needed a new alternator and he said they had everything I needed and loaner tools available for me to take the part off my car so I can replace it with the new alternator. I ended up at Autozone in J-Town instead of the one on Shelbyville Rd. I was thinking I had talked with the guy named Colin but come to find out it was not him. I told him before I purchased the alternator, I need all the tools so I could remove my old alternator and replace it with the new one. After he rung me up for the parts and cashed out, he became very unprofessional saying if you need tools, I can purchase them. We had an argument and I told him I could've drove to the other Autozone location with the tools already waiting on me to change my alternator. Colin is bad for the business and he will cause that store to lose alot of money bc he was acting really strange and doing alot of weird things that wasn't normal. Someone needs to look into this situation because it will hurt the stores bottom line and having all the good workers there wanting to transfer who really cares to help customers.
