Rented a houseboat for a week. Came in to get gas midway through. Found out later they did not actually fill it (the gauge does not work and they told us that). We were without power/air conditioning during a heatwave with 2 small children. When we called the marina we requested they bring gas as that was clearly the issue. The man they sent out did NOT bring gas because the marina told him we just got gas the day before. So after he came out to look at it he had to go back and get gas which prolonged the issue. The whole thing took hours and once they gave us the gas that we should have already been given when we came in to refill and requested it, the boat kicked right back on. No explanation for why that was not received. No discount for the vacation time we lost dealing with the issue. No apology. Very dissapointing.

The houseboat we rented for our family of 11 had deck chairs, a hot tub, and a wet bar on the third deck. However, the hot tub was leaking so badly that water poured down the lower windows, and most of that upper deck was wet and slippery. So, we effectively lost use of that deck. We reported it and a maintenance man came out, but he just confirmed that there was a leak. He said we could fill it back up, but it would just keep draining. We contacted management about a possible discount, but we never heard back. It was a very disappointing note to our otherwise nice vacation. ** Note that the management contacted us and has now given us a partial refund, so that did help make us happier.

We parked in a spot we didn’t know was not allowed and they put a giant 5x7 warning sticker on our window. This thing had to be scraped off with a razor blade and ruined the glass. Super unprofessional to do that to paying customers of this lake. Give me the damn ticket, don’t ruin my window!!
