  Paid a large amount of money to rent a Tri toon for the day, a couple areas of the top were zip tied down, no trash can on the boat and we were told before taking off the radio did not work and that it’s always hard to find child life jackets. The sidewalks around the safe harbor area are cracking everywhere and restrooms were out of order other than some dirty porta potty’s. We also wanted to eat in the restaurant there and currently the internet stated it’s open, we were told the restaurant froze during the winter and it’s closed. Lots of things are poorly maintained for the expensive price you pay. It seems they are not ready for the summer.

  Check in was a little confusing as it’s a separate building before the lodge. Staff were super friendly and the Handicap accessible room was perfect for a few nights stay with my papaw. Newly updated, comfy bed, and great view! We had a small living room with a couch and chair, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Huge bedroom area with balcony access and plenty of room for wheelchair, ect…. The marina was closed for renovations which was a bummer but it didn’t bother us too much. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

  The place was so pretty. The boat was fun. The process was easy!!
