- CFCrystal Freeman6 days ago1.0I had a very disappointing experience with Valvoline. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, and afterward the fasteners/bolts securing the underbody splash shield were left out, causing the underbody splash shield (engine splash guard/panel) to come loose and fall down while I was driving. On top of that, I discovered that there was a small hole/cut in the plastic underbody splash shield that was not there before the service. This was supposed to be a simple oil change, but instead I was left dealing with a loose and damaged underbody panel because the necessary fasteners were apparently not properly reinstalled. Having a component underneath my vehicle come loose while driving was not only frustrating, but also a potential safety concern. A routine oil change should not result in missing hardware, a loose underbody splash shield, or damage to parts of your vehicle.

We had to jump the battery to get the store but when we did the men checked it out and to our surprise they said they would replace it for nothing. We couldn’t have been more happy. Being 88 he doesn’t have a lot of money to be thrown around. So thank you very much for your compassion!
