- DCDan CorbinMay 27, 20265.0I had an issue with the transmission in a 2008 Acadia. I called Bill and he said they were backed up, but he would meet me on Sunday to look at my problem. We met on Sunday, he did a full inspection of the system on his car lift and took it for a test drive. He told me what needed to be done to the car, and offered advice as to what he would do. I tried to pay him for his time, but he refused. He said he couldn't take my money because " he didn't do anything ". In today's world you just dont often meet honest hard working people like Bill. P.S. I will get him paid back for his time and effort. I will just need to be a little more creative.....
- AFAaron FlynnMar 30, 20261.0Said it was open. I went there granted it was a Sunday, but it said open until 7. I got there at 1ish, and didn't get an answer from either of the phone numbers I found. Not to mention it seems to be just a guy working out of his garage. I almost passed it, bc I didn't see the sign until the last min. I just wanted to see how much he would charge me to rebuild my transmission. But couldn't get an answer on the phone or at the shop itself. Which was confusing as well. The open/close sign was flipped so it was somehow perfectly between open and closed. Then the one door leading into the shop looks like it leads into some kind of backup storage room you probably don't want or just walk into. I'm guessing he wasn't open, or was at lunch and didn't bother putting any kind of signage up.
