  Staff was friendly upon check-in and return, car was clean and it was quick and easy to get in and out of the parking garage. Zero issues at CVG. Unfortunately I was double-charged for my rental (and no, I'm not confusing it with the security deposit/pre-authorization hold). Apparently they give themselves 15 business days to process refunds, which is an outrageously long time to fix their own mistakes. It has been almost a month since my rental and I have zero answers from Sixt, merely an acknowledgement that there was a mistake and that they'd look into it.

  1 Star – Left stranded at 1 AM with zero customer supportMy first experience with Sixt was great, but this one was absolutely horrible. My flight into CVG was delayed due to bad weather, and because this branch closes incredibly early for an airport location, I missed my pickup window entirely. I was left completely stranded at the airport after 1:00 AM without a car, trying to figure out how to get to my destination.What really disappointed me was the customer service response the next day. The representative flat out told me they will NOT reimburse me for the day I missed due to the flight delay. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager to escalate the issue, I was brushed off and told they were all "in a meeting." The lack of empathy and accountability is staggering. After this experience, I don't believe I will EVER rent from Sixt again. Avoid them if you want a reliable company that accommodates flight delays.

  I chose Sixt because they had an electric car available for rental, which I booked. When I arrived to the counter, I was told they had no electric cars available at that time. The guy at the counter offered me no sympathy and couldn’t have cared less. I won’t be back.

  Customer Service was unhelpful, car rental return is at 6pm. Leaving no one to help. This wasn't communicated with us upon check in. Upon check in the guy at the counter was rude. And the car was dirty. (We took pictures). We have used sixt in other locations many times but was unimpressed overall with service here at CVG. If we fly into CVG airport again we will use a different car rental.

  The upgrade process felt deceptive. The representative made it sound as though the upgrade was being provided at no additional cost, then explained there would be a $200 hold on my account that would later be refunded. When I signed the agreement, it appeared as though the $200 hold was simply part of the paperwork rather than a separate charge. Afterward, I contacted customer service to express my concerns. Their response was that I had knowingly signed the agreement. From my perspective, that was not the case. The way the charges were presented made it seem as though I was only agreeing to the amount displayed on the screen, not an additional $200 hold. If you rent from this company, be aware that the total you see on the screen may not be the full amount authorized. Be sure to ask specifically whether there is an additional $200 hold on top of the quoted amount before signing. I believe these sales tactics take advantage of travelers who are exhausted and simply trying to get on with their trip. I left feeling that the process was confusing and misleading.
