- EHEric HillmanMay 26, 20261.0Will NOT try another Tire Discounters again. Wrote this on Facebook on May 15th 2026. "Sitting at Frankfort Tire Discounters as they put my truck back together. Had appt to get brakes fixed they come at me with $2400 quote they were kind enough to knock down to $2100 +tax. I told them that was way high. Review parts and labor costs with them then showed them what parts and labor should cost per AI. They said it was incorrect. I then called Rod Hatfield Chevy in Lexington who is certainly not a "discount" place and they were $1300. So basically $1K,ish cheaper at a DEALERSHIP. And that's if it even really needs all the things they said. knew the Georgetown store was that way , apparently its a company policy to fleece. That'll be my last chance I give them." Once I showed them the quote from Rod Hatfield Chevrolet they said they would beat the price. I told them no, it wasn't just about price at that point its about them trying to overcharge upfront and not budging when I gave them a chance to act like it was a mistake. Ended up finding out my rotors were fine.

They knocked out the service much quicker than I expected, same day service. Came in with a load noise at the rear of my car, they quickly identified the issue (wheel bearing), repaired it and had me back on the road within hours. Would recommend.
