- KLKathy LAug 27, 20264.0Recently I had to have my windshield replaced due to a large crack. My insurance covered the cost and I choose to go with Safelite to do the work. Because of the technology in the windshield of my Subaru, I had to have the replacement done at their shop. I was told that could take up to 3 hrs. I resigned myself to wait for my car at their location and was very happy when the replacement took only about an hour. No problems with the replacement and had I been able to have the work done at my home, I would have given 5 stars.

Safelite damaged my vehicle during the service and, despite bringing the issue to their attention, they refused to make it right that day or provide any compensation or resolution. I was told someone would reach out to me, but I still have not been contacted. Very disappointing customer service and follow-through.
