  I recently got into an accident and arranged a rental car through this Enterprise location to be dropped off at the collision center where I was taking my car for repairs. I received multiple confirmations stating that the Alexandria location would be handling the drop-off, which was scheduled for 8:30 AM this past Monday. I ended up waiting until after 10 AM with absolutely no communication from Enterprise about the delay. The collision center even tried contacting them and was repeatedly told they were on their way. When I finally got an explanation, I was told they thought the Newport location was supposed to handle the drop-off, which makes no sense considering I had multiple confirmations stating otherwise. I also tried calling the location myself to express my frustration but couldn’t get ahold of an actual person. Because of their lack of communication and failure to show up on time, I wasn’t able to get to work until after 10:30 AM when I was supposed to be there by 9, resulting in time I now have to make up. To make matters worse, the rental car I was given is in poor condition and has an awful smell. Considering the inconvenience, lack of communication, and condition of the vehicle, I feel some form of compensation or a better vehicle should have been offered. Overall, this was an EXTREMELY frustrating and unprofessional experience. It is completely unacceptable to keep a customer waiting almost 2 hours past the CONFIRMED scheduled time. I’m beyond disappointed with the customer service and would not recommend this location to anyone based on my experience.

  Be very careful when adding optional coverage at this location, and make sure the exact dates are written into the agreement before you sign. I requested Damage Waiver and Supplemental Liability Protection for three specific days when I needed to commute to work. The representative said that could be done, but the final bill included both products for all eleven days of the rental. At no point was it explained that the coverage would continue until the vehicle was returned or that I would need to contact or revisit the branch to remove it. Resolving the issue has also been extremely frustrating. I contacted Enterprise several times, was twice told that a refund would be issued, and was eventually redirected to this branch. The branch declined to correct the additional eight days of coverage. I am willing to pay for exactly what I requested, but customers should not have to fight over charges resulting from unclear or inaccurate explanations at the counter. Based on the billing and the lack of meaningful resolution afterward, I would not rent from this location again.

  The team member who helped us, Taylor went above and beyond. The rental we first received had not matched what we ordered and she took care of our needs with more than we expected. Our vacation trip ended up going as smoothly as it could! Will definitely choose enterprise again!
