He has the equipment out there." went outside and that guy said "There are several guys inside... Talk to them". Went back in and now there were 4 people in line. Waited in line (again) and then the guy outside comes back in and starts helping people in the checkout line. When I get back to the front of the line he asked what I needed.... As if we didn't just talk. He went outside and tested the battery and said it's good. I told him it's starting slow and rough. He said "me too." and went back inside. He should have suggested testing my starter.... No one was real interested in helping me that's for sure. So I'll head over to Autozone or O'Reilly and get some help there. Advance was a joke! I get it... It was 24 degrees out but it takes 2 mins to test a battery. Terrible customer service! UPDATE... took my truck to Autozone and the battery was bad. Replaced it. Problem solved.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
