  To think that I almost bought a membership to this place… smh. Thankfully, I listened to my gut when it told me to hold off on committing to anything. The wash itself seemed fine. The guy at the register window seemed fine. Honestly, the whole place seemed fine, they just have one issue. They don’t provide rags/towels for drying your vehicle after going through the wash. When I asked the attendant where the rags were, he said that they “don’t do that here” like it was totally normal. I didn’t even know that was a thing. I think I’ve been to ~20 other car washes in the KC area and I don’t think I’ve ever encountered this. I was very confused. It all started making sense when the attendant pointed out that you can buy a detail kit for $5! Lol. There’s being cheap, there’s nickel-and-diming people, and then there’s this nonsense. I ended up having to dry my car with a spare t-shirt I had in my back seat. Do better, Tommy’s Express Car Wash. Do better.

  They are always super nice up here and ready/willing to help. I love they have a mat cleaner here also hard to find elsewhere

  Tommy could do better. For $13, this wash is overpriced and under-delivered. Unlike nearby competitors, they don’t provide rags, leaving me with no way to wipe down my wet car. Worse yet, the equipment completely missed sections of my hood. My car is small, so there’s no excuse for the brushes to miss the most obvious spots. Between the poor wash quality and the lack of basic supplies, it’s definitely not worth the premium price.

  I bought three gift cards on Black Friday for three months each and was trying to figure out how to activate them and went up to the window and they helped me "activate it" and when activating I had to put in my credit card and I asked after the three months are up if I was going to be charged and he looked at my app and insured I wouldn't, come to find out the gift card was never activated or used and I was charged For three months. I went in to see how or what had happened because at that point all I knew was that I was charged for three months and they looked at me like I was lying when I still have two unused gift cards cards and told them I bought them during their deal and explained how I had 2 right here and 3 months of charges so I was coming to activate another and there's no record of me using the third one I asked if there's anyway I could at least get a refund for any amount since I hadn't used the car wash for two out of the three months anyways, and I had already thrown away the gift card that was never activated. The worker laughed and said maybe one month but probably not. Overall mistakes happen but getting help from them is nearly impossible and the people on site were rude for no reason, I never asked for anything at first just wanted to see what happened and I was treated like a scammer with 2 gift cards worth nearly $300 in my hand....

  The associates are Tommy’s are always friendly and helpful. Last week Caleb cleaned my rubber mats for me while I was cleaning the interior and drying my car. It’s also a great car wash.
