I called the wrong store and the man on the phone said, “so why are you calling this store?” with this most disgusting attitude like I inconvenienced him. He could’ve told me nicely that I was calling the wrong store, but instead caught an attitude. You need to train your employees better about customer service.

When I asked them to clear the code, the employee told me it was illegal to do that in Kansas. As far as I can tell, that's not true: there's no state law against clearing a code on your own vehicle, and Kansas doesn't even do emissions testing. If it's company policy not to clear codes, just say that. Telling customers something is illegal when it isn't is misleading. The code reading was fine, but staff should be trained to give accurate information.

I told the guy the model make of my car she did brake fluid. When she asked him if he could help, the guy started laughing and he said something along the lines of they don’t help with brake fluid because if people willy-nilly can just press on an accelerator. And continue to laugh. Being on customer service for almost all my life I thought that was very professional. It’s one thing to say sorry we can’t and explain a reason. It’s another thing to make fun of somebody. So my question to the guy is was your reaction like that because My Mom spoke English or was because she was a female? Either one unacceptable and if you want shitty as customer service, definitely this is a place to go. Do better!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
