I just got a text message, not even a phone call that my appointment for today has been canceled. They said they would just reschedule me for the next available appointment and send an email. No calling. No asking me what works for my schedule. Nothing. We arrange our days and work around these appointments. Will you be now compensating me for my time or work lost bc you are unable to provide the service you agreed to?

Fraudulent practices. I booked premium online. The next day I called to verify that I selected the right options for my back window on my truck. Gave the rep my vin. She said I selected the correct options. And would supply the local shop the info. A few days later I arrive for my appointment. -guy at the desk said he had the sliding window. Now the window that was broken. I informed I called and verified everything. -rep says quote invalid. Says it will be closer to 700$. When I was quoted 578$. - I repeated. I gave the lady my vin. And double checked. -had to wait for them to order new window and replace. Oh well. -they replaced the window. But did not tell me. They chipped my paint. -they also lost a plastic air bag cover to my truck. -tech didn’t change windshield wipers. Because when they rescheduled. They didn’t mark premium. I brought it. Up. They installed new basic wipers. So at least they did that. They Said they will replace. So I will be going up there Saturday to see if they found my airbag insert. Hopefully they follow through. If they do I’ll update my review. As of this point it still frustrates me how they were not prepared when I

Booked a windshield replacement at my house. First appointment, the rep called in sick and no show, rescheduled, second appointment, the rep calls before hand to tell me that the windshield was damaged on the way to another appointment. Third appointment, no show at all for hours. Scheduled to have it done at the shop, I asked on the phone, are you sure the windshield will be there on time, I was assured yes. Day of appointment, I get a text that the glass has not arrived and need to reschedule. Rescheduled, got there, got the job done, the guys at the shot where good, did a great clean job, came out and whipped up all access lines and dirt. Get in the car, the windshield is warped, and badly in the center stretching to the passenger side. I ask what my options are, the manager is honest and I appreciated it, he said we can warranty for another aftermarket windshield, but runs a high risk of warping again and OEM would be better. I inform him that when I called to scheduled and they brought in my insurance to confirm, I was told that OEM is very expensive and that is why we have to do aftermarket. Manager said hold on, showed me the numbers, an OEM is only $850 cash, whereas I just paid $500 for the deductible to get an aftermarket. Now fighting with insurance company to approve warranty to get OEM vs aftermarket. So the crew at the shop, do great work, the waiting room is a bit beat up but they do a good job. The online team, seems to be careless.

Safelite glass repair (Olathe, KS location) helped me replace a broken windshield quickly and efficiently. They were professional and friendly. I would go back again if I ever need more services from them. The only negative thing was trying to get a hold of someone directly from the shop. All calls go to a call center and they try to help but when it comes down to it they can't help with anything outside of scheduling. That's the only frustrating part. You're better off going to the shop and speaking with someone in person. I would rate a 4/10 for the inconvenience of their phone system not connecting customers directly to the store. Having a call center is dumb. But this location and the employees there were great, thanks safelite!

Unprofessional scheduling and logistics at the Olathe location. 1st visit/appointment was for a windshield repair — a replacement was identified; fair enough. Front desk representative said he'd order the part and call back within an hour to reschedule. Three days later, no call back. 2nd visit (on the third day after the 1st appointment): front desk representative: “part wasn't ordered, but I can order it now and reschedule; is that okay?.” This should have been a red flag, but alas I trusted them and rescheduled. 3rd visit/2nd appointment (1 week later): 1 hour into it, a technician tells me they actually didn't have the replacement windshield on hand; to please wait for an hour later while they attempt sourcing from a warehouse. The technician was nice and I do not envy his job to have to deliver bad news. 4th "appointment"/1 hr later: the warehouse didn't have the part either; they asked for another appointment 3.5 hours later. This second technician was also nice and explained they would “try and get the part from another shop.” I thanked him and cancelled this fourth appointment -- went somewhere else. I understand I may have just drawn the short stick four times in a row, but also, how is this a serious business? To the two techs who helped me: it wasn't your fault and I appreciate your honesty; no beef here. Unfortunately and aside from those two techs, my view of this location is a "solid sucks" due to "flaccid professionalism."
