  Not a good experience. First thing I went online to schedule an appointment. I filled out all of the required info and requested the top of the line windshield that was supposed to be the vehicle brand replacement. Clearly paid extra for that. Filled out everything, selected an appointment time and hit submit. Then I received nothing from them confirming anything. No email text or call. I had to call them, which was an adventure all it's own, to make sure everything was in order. Luckily it was. The tech showed up when he was supposed to. Did the work and checked everything out. Said everything was good. Drove the vehicle without issue for a couple months. Then one day when I was driving and it was raining a little, an error came up on my screen that the auto wiper feature wasn't working. I was due for some other maintenance at the dealer, so i mentioned it when it was going in for that. They determined the glass was not factory glass and some sort of knock off generic glass and that it had been installed incorrectly and the sensor was damaged when it was done. I then tried to call Safelight. The computer operator said they couldn't find my phone number in the system and hung up on me. Twice. I then hunted for another number and got a human. She couldn't find anything on me or my vehicle for a while. Then she found me. Said that I had not ordered the upgraded service and windshield even though I had. She was little help to me. Needless to say I had to pay a pretty penny at the dealer for them to replace the glass with the correct type and fix the sensor. I would NOT recommend Safelight at all. They seem to impersonal and too tech/online driven and not helpful.

  I had a fantastic experience with Safelite AutoGlass! Logan completed my windshield chip repair and provided exceptional service from start to finish. He was incredibly kind, professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. The repair was completed in under 20 minutes, making the experience quick, easy, and stress-free! I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and efficiency. Highly recommend Logan and Safelite!

  My experience with Safelite was a 4-letter word x 10. I will have to really think about using the Kansas City, Mo. location. The saving grace was Andrew this service tech went way above and beyond to ensure my windshield was replaced. After 3 failed and canceled appointments; Andrew came out on the 3rd attempt with the wrong windshield again. He contacted his office to correct windshield that kept being repeatedly ordered (even after providing the office all the information). He made sure he would be the installer that would come back out and gave me his contact. Again; the office put the wrong address in the order. The wrong address was an hour away; Andrew drove the distance to my house, it starting to rain. He was willing to go to a parking garage and do the install. Andrew demonstrated what ethics and customer service should be.

  The only problem i had was the lack of communication about getting the rubber seal for my windshield and I kept having to call and get an update and nobody knew anything until the week it finally got done. The only reason they got 4 stars is because the technician was amazing.
